Welcome to Thailand!
This travel happened in June 2023. On our day 1, we arrived Bangkok in the morning via Cebu Pacific. No much issues with the group with Immigration as everyone has a smooth transaction.
Prior to our trip we purchased services from Klook such as sim card (DTAC) and pocket wifi which we picked up at the airport.
From airport, we took the express train going to Phaya Thai and then from there we took Grab going to our hotel.
We stayed Yahn Ratchawat Hotel which a really cozy place to stay. Highly recommended! Some are are already available so some friends already check in earlier than the rest of us. We just stayed in their lounge area while waiting and some of us worked.
After checking in, one my friends and I explored the street to look for a good pad thai house. Some locals recommended Sawasdee and so tried it. And yeah, the place has a good pad thai which I also highly recommend if your are Ratchawat area.
Back in our hotel, we rested a bit and then the group decided to go to our first official destination Krua Apsorn at Sam Sen Road - a Michelin Star rated restaurant! Foods here are the best! We love it so much!
After Krua Apsorn, we went to Chinatown for some more food trip! hahaha... Really good as night; very lively, a lot of food to choose from and we tried some of the best!
Day one is done. A day of food trip indeed!
