I’m Arab, and I can tell you that middle eastern fragrances are potent because the high high high heat there, will break down the fragrance throughout the day. It has to be strong to have longevity.
Thank you so much for being the only one I can find on youtube that actually made the correct comparison. Everyone else keeps saying that Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge is a dupe of "Baccarat Roughe 540 EDP", when we both obviously know that it was created to be a dupe of, even down to the same bottle color (Red glass, gold accents), of "Baccarat Rouge 540 EXTRAIT". I wish the others would differentiate between the two because the 540 extrait is different from the 540 EDP, in the opening, mid and dry down, because the extrait has additional notes and is far more dense / stronger than the 540 EDP which can actually lose its smell sometimes. To say it is "Just a dupe of the original 540 EDP doesn't do it justice. lol All they have to do is google and look at the bottle of Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait and the Haramain Amber Oud Rouge and they would realize exactly which one they cloned / duped. When they go as far as to match the bottle design / colors, as you showed, that makes it pretty obvious. Thanks to you, I just ordered me a bottle off of Amazon. LOL I can't wait to get it. Sorry to bother you. Just received the Amber Oud Rouge. Do you have a problem with it smelling just like rubbing alcohol upon an initial spray and no other scent? I guess it did change after about 10 minutes to a very soft, almost unrecognizable scent. Was just wondering if this was to be expected. Thanks in advance for your help.
@@JAMESAWYNN1 absolutely not.... it smells just like the BR 540 extrait. Set yours somewhere dark it may need more time to bond together. Also pull your spray cap off. Let me know if the atomizer is metal or plastic. The atomizer is being held in place by the perfume sleeve. I want to make sure someone didn't remove the perfume and fill it back up and sold it too you.

Niche fragrances I own 100+, smelled probably hundreds of hundreds more, than 150+ designer fragrances in my collection, and I love almost all of my fragrances j have right now, but Baccarat Rouge 540 EdP and Extrait de Parfum, ufff, it's just such magical fragrances, the EdP I layer in 99% of cases, and the Extrait de Parfum mostly alone, and they are my first favorite fragrances I ever had, and love that much - forever....🥰🤌😘
Hello there! I just wanted to pop in here to let you know that I recently took the leap and bought Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge and I'm here to tell you that it is SHOCKINGLY good! This lady is telling the real truth about that one at least! I compared it to real BR 540 and I honestly cannot tell the difference! What that ultimately means is you're getting a $500 fragrance for $40-$50! Don't hesitate if you're considering Rouge! I hope this helps!

I have 7 Al Haramain perfumes 6 are absolutely amazing and 1 is great but not mind blowing but still great. The other six are replicas on steroids! Al Haramain is worth every penny! This Rouge Edition is fantastic!

The gold one is a dupe for Xerjoff’s Erba Pura and is solid, and I’d say it;s way better as Erba Pura has been reformulated and now it doesn’t last that long.
Drives me nuts all these high end niche companies reformulating their perfumes... To me its dishonest business to call it "reformulating" when their diluting it down but still selling it at the regular price. PURE GREED!!!

I got the AlHaramain amber oud rouge perfume 2 weeks ago. Its a BEAST of a perfume. I have not sniffed any BR540 wether the original or extrait so I was nervous about ordering it, but I am so glad I did. I have only tried it twice and 2 sprays last me 24hr or more.This is the first time I heard its a dupe for the extrait version. AlHaramain really underpromised and overdelivered with this one.
@@laylasfeir6912 its unisex, can be for women and men. Although when I asked a few members of my family the thought it was slightly more feminine leaning but I think it works on both.
For a clone this one is (per se) expensive. A fabulous clone of BR540 (NOT BR540 Extrait) is Lattafa's Ana Abiyedh "Rouge". I paid US$15/- (one size, 60ml bottle) for it here in Bombay and it'd probably cost US$10/- in the UAE.
@@Scentsibility I think the almond makes it more interesting. You should try layering it Tom Ford Lost Cherry or Be Layered Cherry Delight. It's also nice layered with Jasmins Marzipane too. Anyway, thank you for the great video!
8:35 DON'T! It is already too powerful and you're going to make people vomit 😂😂 I have it and that's why I warn you. 4-5 sprays will get you well over 24 hours with the first 4-5 hours projecting above 2 meters

I just found your channel and enjoy your honesty! I just started getting back into perfumes again and finally bought Ariana Grande Cloud and while I do like it, it’s very intimate as far as sillage goes. But I heard Ariana Grande Cloud smells alot like Baccarat Rogue 540. Have you had Coud? Would you say it’s a dupe of BR540? I then found out that there is a cloud intense, so I was thinking about just picking that up and then I seen your video about this Al Heramain Amber Oud Rouge. If you have smelled cloud, does the Amber Oud Rogue smell, identical to Ariana Grande cloud, except stronger? Thank you so much for any guidance you can share. Thanks for the sub.. I haven't tried the cloud. I own BR540 and extrait in the bottles, AL Haramain, and in perfume oil. All these are pretty spot on to the bottles.
Hi, i have both. Cloud has the same dna and "vibe" but definetely not a replace or clone. Very feminine and kinda too sweet, not a clone but same woody fluffy dna :)
Located on the bottle and on the box. They should be the same number. You can check on the brands website or online. Watch out sellers will lie and I had a few sell me old or fake bottles. The old ones are okay if they have never been sprayed.
Great review. I've found another dupe that's about 98% identical at 20$. It's called "Paris corner pendora rouge" it's from UAE. Would love to hear your thoughts on it compared to al haramain AOR.
I'm confused. Which one is the dupe for TF. Amber oud or amber oud tobacco edition? I have the amber oud Rouge and gold edition but I'm debating on which one to get that resembles TF. Please help. Can you do a video explaining about the product code. I’m new to this so I’m not understanding how to find the product code etc but it seems so important and I want to learn. Can you do a video/tutorial showing us an example on how it’s done. Thank you! :) Also is all the fragrance sold on Amazon real ??
Product codes are located on the box and the bottom of the perfume. There are several websites you can use (use Google to find them) and it will tell the year of production. There's alot of fakes circulating so product codes are important
@@Scentsibility but how do you find the product with brands like the one in the video when they don’t have a official website, so how would you know you getting the right product code. So for example getting Tom ford product code would be easy because I can check official stores likes Macy’s, Sephora, Bloomingdale’s etc . But the brand in the video or other brands similar I can only find them on eBay, Amazon, Etsy etc so how would I know where to start if they’re only sold on websites that sell a lot of fakes ?
@@Kenken77733 I always ask the seller for the product code... as for Amazon that sells mass numbers you can check the product when it arrives. Alot of companies like Cosmetic Calculator & Check Fresh offer multiple brands. Just select the brand and input the product code. It should pop up if it's authentic. Also always read the seller's reviews. If there bad I would find another seller.
Believe it or not, I have not smelled Baccarat Rouge yet...its not sold in my area, I even went to a couple of stores in Houston and Austin, and they didn't have it. So I dont know what it smell like and I'm about 2 years behind. Lol

I purchased mine off Ebay... but if you can't get this bottle... you can definitely get it in an oil from Generic Perfumes. I got the A++ and it last a week or two on my jackets. They have close to 4,000 fragrances and they are 98-99 percent exact duplicates. The only difference I've noticed is in the top notes... but hey those only lasts 30 minutes with any perfume. The rest of the middle and base are exact. There way stronger than the name brands.

Hello. I just received the Amber oud rouge yesterday, i sprayed one shot yesterday and it was awesome, it smelt like 540 but sweeter. But today when i sprayed it, it was dominated by sourness whole time and the longevity was bad. Do you get the same scent as i do ?

I have a question, I own Al Haramain amber oud rouge. Would it make sense to own MFK 540? I have the samples coming in the mail, is it close enough to just buy another MFK frangrance if I like it, and just keep the AL Haramain clone for BR 540?
The amber oud Rouge is the BR540 Extrait... I personally will be sticking with the Al Haramain in the future... way cheaper than MK BR540 and the Extrait...

Omg I have this fragrance but I empty the entire bottle on me each time and I can’t smell nothing! All the cologne from this company I can’t ever smell I have 4 cologne from the company! People always say wow somebody smells really good around here but how come I can’t smell nothing! 😭😭😭
