I would love a video that specifcially highlights games that are out of early access and had their full releases. Ive been burnt soo many times by early access games. Something like "top 10 fully released base builders" and "top 10 fully released automation games"
@@TheAltairFun Hi! The various World Turtle myths actually predates Discworld by many many years (I'm a huge fan of Discworld). STP borrowed the world on elephants on a turtle idea from Hindu mythology. I even contacted Rhianna Pratchett just to be sure, and she's fine with it, as long as I don't use Discworld specific characters, locations and ideas. But the setting is definitely not Discworld specific.
Great list. After taking part in the Gates of Pyre playtest, it's definitely become one of the games I'm eagerly awaiting. The lore is fantastic and really caught my attention.

11:33 ARK 2: Instance rendering is 2 different things. If you are a dev, it's rendering something once, then using that render on all similar models. Meaning you can render 1 tree, and stamp it around, saving a ton of GPU/CPU. To players, this normally means that all the cut scenes are realtime render, so during the cut scene your character will look like your character, and not a pre-rendered movie.

It amazes me that they left base building out of starship troopers terran command RTS and gave it to Extermination FPS, odd move, also any ideas when Terminator Dark Fate RTS is coming? just says 2023 all the time. but nothing else.
I can't wait to play Frostpunk 2, Frostpunk is my personal favourite of any survival-base builder and I'm really hyped for the second part. (Even tho It's not on the list) Great video, I will definitely check out some games from here. Thanks man. :)

man i played the crap out of the manor lord demo when it was up think I put in 10 hours. looking forward to its release in April. Enjoyed the crust demo as well. lonely outpost was bit bland for me..
It’s embarrassing for the game industry to see how many of these games should’ve been released according to their original schedule yet still float in development almost a year later
I really dislike the blanket term "god game" since they are just management games pure and simple. I can't imagine a god telling people where and what to build in detail their entire community space, let alone govern resources for them. Genre names really have gotten out hand and are losing all meaning. There's a small gem of a game in development that is basically 2d Black & White. Eden Universe, by Haxo Game Studios. SteamWorld Build, by Thunderful Development, a mining town builder. Villagedom, by Dazar takes a page out of Kingdom and adds village building. Clanfolk, by MinMax Games Ltd. is a survival city builder. Songs of Syx, by Gamatron AB, is an ambitious idea of kingdom building. You are not wrong about there being a huge number of these games in development.

@@CuriousTrotter Yea I meant that the aesthetic design, costumes, rendering style, color palettes, line weight and hatching etc is all just straight Jean Giraud. Often games with a strong visual art design will be "influenced" by famous artists, but this game just straight up steals his style, as if he working on the game himself. As a professional concept artist myself I'm not a fan of such blatant "inspiration" without permission. But he was a comics/graphic novel illustrator and died in 2012, so he has nothing to do with modern games directly. He did work on several movies though, such as the Fifth Element. Not that big of a deal, but it was the first thing that jumped out at me when I saw it.
Keep in mind before buying ARK 2 : Ark Survival evolved was resold as Ark Survival Ascended for the same price and Official servers quickly turned off. This is a developer to avoid. Ark 2 also has been delayed several times!
ARK 2..... lol... the game keeps getting delayed week by week.... 2025 is the projected release window now.... I'm not buying it at all. Not worth it anymore.

hey man, your vids are relatively quite compared to other videos. you may want to consider raiseing the volume. on my speaker i normally have it set to 10/100 for this vid i had to crank it to 20/100

Just from watching a few seconds of the intro, I’m guessing 95% of these are pc only. Wish that would’ve been mentioned before wasting any more of my time.
