Great review! I can agree the True Shift 2 are awesome, especially for the price! I also had the same issue with one of the earbuds not disconnecting when I put them back in the case. I noticed the rubber part connecting the ear tip was blocking the magnet and once I fixed that it’s never happened again!

Picky Audio I had the same issue with another Soundpeats- the Truengine SE. they didn’t stop playing even when I put them back in the case.

Ive tried several wireless earbuds and ive noticed that all the ones I tried have slight audio video lag. I had my trueshifts for about 5 months and absolutely love them

had to subscribe ;-) your reviews are really really good.. my compliments sir..( i bought them and was not disappointed.. i do have a lot connection problems between the buds them self.. Meaning once ever 3 to 4 days the left bud won't connect to the right one .. and i have to go true the hassle of resetting them and removing them from my phone and reconnecting them as a new pair.. But one thing that impressed me was the range. compared to my Mpow M12 or Mpow M30 these are way way better in my apartment that is filled with interference..

I bought the True Engine S3 I had lot of problems pairing them , sometimes I just have not to use them , I bought the TrueShift 2 and I love them great sound, more secure fit and longer battery life I have no issues with the size of the case because I put them in the gym bag and if I have the cable can charged my phone.

I've used the Trueshift2 for almost 2 weeks now and I have noticed the same issue of playing while it's plugged in its case. What I did was switch the earwing thingy, that usually stops it from plugging correctly. Another thing that I have noticed is, that when I try and cover both my ears, one earbud loses connection. This could be an issue on my device alone, but I'd be happy if you check yours out too. I love this buds. I hit the subscribe button and I love you content! Thank you for your awesome reviews!

It wasn't really intentional.hehe I do understand what you are trying to say though, it's just that I have other Tws where I have tested covering up my ears after that incident, and the disconnection never happened. It's not that big of a deal though. It might just be my unit that has this issue. Let's say its a one in a million chance and I got that one. Thank you for your comment brother. Stay safe!

I like mine but I agree with the "turn-off" issue. I hate putting things in my ear but these buds are surprisingly comfortable. I wore just one bud at work and I used it all day on the first day, removing it only at lunch to charge.

One thing I noticed with my SoundPeats TrueEngine sometimes they look like their sat properly into the case but weren’t. The fit in the case is very precise and has to be in perfect. It caused me to have the fail to power off issue when not addressed.

I’ve had this earbuds for over a month and I’ve never had a problem with the buds not shutting down after putting them in the case. It maybe yours that your testing have a problem. I have used these every day since getting them and still don’t have to charge them. To the large case is not an issue. I can put up with the large case. I did get some ear fatigue in the left ear but not the right but that has since gone away. I like my bass heavy so you know where I stand there. If anything maybe the highs are slightly recessed. Mids are good for my listening. I would’ve given them I higher rating. If I would’ve watched your video I probably wouldn’t have bought them. That’s why I watch no less the 5 reviews on a product to make my final decision. I did enjoy the video. Good content.

@@mrkwd I bought Soundpeats truewings and they don't turn off either - the charging pins get stuck in pushed down in position and don't touch the earbuds. Also they shutdown unexpectedly (i think a button gets stuck)..I got a refund and ordered a 2nd pair as I love the sound being loud enough to EQ for deep bass and they have volume control so can use with my watch. Kept wondering whether I should get these

If you adjust the wing tips then it helps it from having the issue so before you put them back in the case you can just stop the music then put it into the case and they will automatically turn off.

Hi, really liked your review. I live in UAE and have a limitation to find purchasing options for budget earbuds from US. I am down to deciding between a last few. What would you recommend between a Votomy V22, Soundpeats Trueshift 2 and Boltune Bh024 (I want a balanced sound stage/EQ and good battery life). Also, since trueshift 2 is quite easily available in my location and I know it is quite bass heavy, can I use an app to control/improve the EQ output from trueshift 2? Thanks

Great review as always! I’m not sure if you can add a quick test of earbuds with the RU-vid app in your reviews as I’ve noticed that some will pause playback of RU-vid videos when tapping to pause but will not resume it again with a tap. May possibly be a bug in the iOS RU-vid app (which I have reported just in case) I have 2 pairs of earbuds. One will pause and resume playback, the others will only pause from the touch controls when they are supposed to do both. Thanks!

Hi Mark, hope you're well! I've recently joined the market of searching for wireless earbuds as my current wired earphones are litterally held together with paper and tape 😂, anyway, I've been watching your reviews all day. Really great by the way! And a couple others - just to get a mixed opinion. I can't make up my mind which to buy. Id prefer touch over button. Sound is the most important thing, I'm after a dynamic sound, with good attention to detail. And a good microphone. With decent bass. A phone power bank would be a bonus interns of value for money for the product, but not essential. Unfortunately I am on a tight budget. Under £50/$50. I hope I'm not asking too much 😂 but what pair would you recommend? If anyone else is reading, please feel free to help. I'd recommend you to buy the *soundpeats truecapsule* , they're really good and offer amazing value for the price If you don't like the stem design of the truecapsule, then I'd recommend you to buy the *soundpeats truedot* or *soundpeats true free+* , they also offer very good value for money. Note : if you want the best mic quality out of all of these, then go for the *true capsule* .

This case is okay in size-----compared with the Powerbeats pro's. I just switched to the new Powerbeats to get rid of the big case.

Great review! These became quite a pleasant headset to me. First of all got these at a true bargain price of sub 30euro.. then second as much as I can criticize soundperformance on any earbud. These don't really disappointed. It is a acceptable rich full and crispy sounding bud. That said I preferred like 20% less crispness and 20 more on bass. But to compensate these have a really good stable and far reaching connection. Every other set drops connection at some point while walking through the end of the house.. these..nope they bash through walls, walls and ceilings. The case might be a bit huge, like 2x the size..but hey they also deliver 100h and doubles as a powerbank. Guess it's quite acceptable. Build quality is not the best and feel a little bit cheap let's say. Finishing quality also slightly under standards. The silicone earfins for example has some molding leakage and rubber residue. Also why the right earbud sometimes needs a little push to make it sit correct in the cradle. So a decent sounding yet very solid budget earbud with a above price performance,yet not the holy grail bargain.

Regarding switching connection to another device: This isn't obvious, but if you hit connect on the new device while holding down either earbud, it will put them back into pairing mode and automatically switch connections. Or you can hold down the earbud first for it to disconnect from the connected device, then you hit connect on the other device.

I have had my pair for almost 2 years and they worked great the whole time; until about a week ago. The left earbud completely stopped showing life when taken out of the case. It shows the red charging LED inside the case. Then the light shuts off after a while, showing it's charged. Then when I take it out of the case nothing happens, the lights stay off and it doesn't go into pairing mode. I have looked at other options with the long battery life and I can't find anything that also has a charging case like these. At the moment I'm just dealing with the one earbud not working and frantically trying to find a worthy replacement.

Hi. I bought 2 pairs of Soundpeats Trueshift 2 because I saw your review and the microphone of the both pairs is very bad. The person I am talking to barely can understand me. My voice interrupts every 10-15 sec and the volume gets very low for 1 millisecond. I tried to record my voice using the earbuds to send a proof sample to seller but my Iphone uses it's own mic even if the earbuds are connected. Do you use any third party app to record your voice ?

hope you can help? i'm having a lot of issues with my "TrueShift 2" every so often when i pull out the buds only the right one wants to connect to my iphone se 2020. then i need to reset them by butting them in the case and pressing holding down until they flash wite/red remove them the profile from my phone and repair as new device. After that there are no problems for a couple of times i pull them out of the case.. but today i had to reset them twice already.. SoundPeats is no help they keep telling me to reset them.. and i'm not sure their English is good enough for them to really understand what i'm saying? question: is there something i can do to prevent the buds not connecting to each other ? i tried pulling the left one first 2sec later the right one .. pulling the right one first .. and pulling them both at the same time.... also tried keeping them as close as possible when pulling them out.. Really nothing helps..

Think I read somewhere that when you put them back in their charging case you have hold down the button on the pods for a few seconds to switch them off and reverse to turn them back on

I am due to receive these (Trueshift2) in a week, however I already own the TrueBuds (Soundpeats) and I can testify this is not true. Whenever I place them in the case they turn off by themselves, whereas when I pick them up from the case they turn on instantly. Hope it helps, might update this comment in a week when I receive the TS2.

@@Stay_ClassyYT Absolutely not, when you put them in the case they instantly turn off. Likewise when you pick them up again. That pretty much applies for every single one of the SOUNDPEATS lineup. However, I wouldn't advocate for the Truebuds or even the TS2's since the newly TrueFree2 and TrueEngine3 are out for sale right now. In those latter ones SOUNDPEATS outdid themselves.

It is a good sign that it'll still connect just as fine where the last earbuds I have use all of a sudden didn't connect to my phone as of today. For those who experienced the left or right earbud not turned on or unpaired right after lifting out of the box. Try pressing the earbud that is not working for 3 seconds and it will be turned on and pair automatically. :)

@@rajpatel4304 from reading alot of commets and reddit post i can say that most ppl say its fine Just 1 problem where it doesnt charge bcs the wing tip is in the way(so just make sure to put it in propperly) otherwise most people say its rly good, but if u choose to not get these id recommend if u on a low budget other soundpeats earbuds or enacfire if u have a bit more money to spare then get the lypertek tevi

This isn't a rant about this particular model/review/reviewer, but in general, why is it that companies (and customers) take very seriously the claimed battery duration of 30, 40, 50, 100 hours when in reality these never pass the 4-5 hour usage time? I hate that I always have to search for the single charge play time because that's what I'm interested about. I know they won't last 100 hours on one charge, but why is it that they don't just say "battery lasts 5 hours, and you get 5-6 extra charges out of the case". Why do they have to advertise as "100 hours playtime"? When I search for "long battery life earbuds" I want to see the ones that last 8-10 hours on a single charge 😩

I do love the Liberty Neo, but I can't recommend any buds with micro-USB charging now that I've seen so many with USB-C. Fortunately, the Trueshift 2 have a very similar sound, so I'd go for these instead.

With the wingtips, you should get a nice fit, but they might sit outside of your ears just a tad than most. These definitely aren't the bulkiest earbuds I've ever seen!

I own the soundpeats shift 2 and what I can say is that the bass on shift 2 is not good as the apple earphone. Even the apple earphone is louder than the shift 2.

I had to return them back sadly because the audio was just not loud enough...😞 I had to literally put them close to max to actually hear a good sound and it was a big disappointment because the earbuds were so comfortable! Stayed secure when I was running and the design was really sharp for only 50$! Instead I just decided to buy the Anker Soundcore liberty 2 pro and I’m hoping the hiss is not there😂 therefore, if you like high volume like I do in my opinion these ain’t it chief...😬

They are super comfortable - I didn't notice that they were especially quiet but I'll try and compare them to some of my loudest earbuds to see how they compare. Hoping you don't get any hiss either, if not, they're a great option!

I think because if theres too much focus on bass than every other sound gets drowned out or is bad quality :/

There's 1 more earbuds I'd like to recommend you to review. That one, though is a chinese pair, is different from other bazillion pairs of earbuds. Model is S9, and it sells under different brand names, that one have all the above features even more compact case and 120 hours of better life. It is Amazon bestseller too in Us and in Europe. Search for feob or Ipossible 3500 mah earbuds. Try those
