We had a hunch it would be like this but nothing more. This place just blew our minds Megan. The whole south coast is like this and it's ... well .. a giant coast line - Trevor
I didn't either but having gone to Olu Deniz in September, my wife and I fell in love with the place. I felt a genuine connection.. So green and lush with beautiful mountains.. olive trees, pomegranate trees, clusters of grapes growing overhead in a little Restaurant overlooking Butterfly Valley.. Long beaches and turquoise sea. Plenty of nearby places, excursions to choose from.. Really friendly locals and people of all races and nationalities getting along and enjoying themselves 👍 Great place
I went there in September (2019)..it was beautiful.. Great place... Picturesque and really friendly locals with a good sense of humour.. As a Welsh man, who can't speak Welsh, i was amazed to have a Turkish man telling me how to tell my wife ' I love you' in Welsh!!
I went to Oludeniz for 2 weeks and have just returned. The beach is absolutely stunning, and the blue lagoon was literally out of this world. I went paragliding and the views are breathtaking. Thank you for sharing these vlogs
Stayed in Hisaronu for at least the last 10 years. It's a small village in between Fethiye and Oludeniz. A bit cooler than Fethiye and Oludeniz, in one holiday you have the village the city and the beach resort. So much to see and do, food and trips/activities are so cheap, and the local people are so friendly.
I've seen so many magazine pictures of this place - thank you for giving us the real life experience! Really enjoy your Vlogs and it's great to see you living the life you love. Thanks so much for all the work you put into the vlogs - you make a lot of people happy!
We really appreciate the kind words SL. If people are smiling and watching then we're doing things right. This place really is magical and worth a visit if you're heading to Turkey 😃 - Trevor
I go to Olu Deniz every year. I love it! You should go to the top of the mountain (Babadag mountain) they have a restaurant there and the views are unbelievable and you watch the paragliders jump off!! Bourekas are amazing too! They’re made with yufka (pastry) and usually cheese but sometimes meat or veg :) The boat trips are so much fun too!
Ive been to turkey one and we went in there, there was a bout that was ghere untill night time at 12am in the blue lagoon, i went on it with my family, my aunt owns a villa in oludinez and its close to blue lagoon, im going back there in 2 months and im so exited
I personally love the first part of this video! The beach with all the restaurants and shops. BEAUTIFUL. And that wonderful gorgeous FOOD! Looks like a place I would love.
Steve you would indeed love this place! We're just getting started on the food as well. There's going to be quite a few videos focusing on the Turkish cuisine coming up 😋 - Trevor
Thank you so much for your video. We hope to travel out to Fethiye in the next couple weeks, your videos have reassured us and we look forward to going even more ;-)
D food always looks great in Turkey. It's so mouthwatering. Show us more food moments in Turkey. Don't forget d Turkish sweets n desserts, ice cream, baklava etc, please.
I love Turkey but its been a few years. We've stayed in a few places Marmaris, icemeler, Fetyihe, but when we did a day in the blue lagoon, we were in Hisaronou higher up the mountains from Olu deniz in October. Too cold for the deep pools but hot enough to stay out but was lovely at night as all the restaurants and bars had cosy fires. The amount of paragliders is amazing and a sight to see in itself. Hope you enjoyed Turkey. 😊
There are paragliders everywhere right? It's hard to capture them on camera. It sounds like you had a great visit to Turkey as well. We love it here! - Anna
The mountain is called Babadag and is one of the best point for paragliding. There are many professional teachers there and I highly recommend you to try it next time. You can reach up to 2000 mts if you are lucky and feel like a bird on a gorgeous view. Love the videos, I wish you to keep enjoy.
Great coverage! My boyfriend and I are planning a trip and checking some beach options. Looove the additional information on dental work and your airbnb!!!
For anybody else visiting here Check Out The Olive Garden in Kabak a beautiful tranquil Infinty pool right up in the mountains looking out over Butterfly Valley and visit the gorgeous Billy Beach the private Sandy beach on the opposite side of the Lagoon
Börek is a name of pastry or dough made food. But we have hundrets sorts of Böreks. What u had was "sigara böreği" (cigarette börek) and this is one of a kind which is fried in oil. Normally Böreks were baked in oven. Look here: www.pinterest.de/yemek_tarifleri/%C3%A7e%C5%9Fitli-b%C3%B6rek-tarifleri/
@@DelightfulTravellers you have to go Marmaris, Bodrum, Akyaka and Gökova. This places is near to Fethiye. You must join a boat tour. if you have a enough time you can go to Çeşme, Alaçatı , Ayvalık, Side, Kaş and Kemer.
We call it puffy bread but it’s called bloomer bread, the food we find it really great, the bread you get as a starter usually free before main meal,it normally comes with garlic butter and salsa

@@DelightfulTravellers I stayed 8 days in Ölüdeniz in a tent and it was amazing. I got unforgettable memories in there like view of my tent (Butterfly Valley) and Boat tour. I'm looking forward to go there again. I think you should too. This time you should visit FARALYA Village which is top of the Butterfly Valley. After that keep going to KAŞ area :)
Thank you for showing people how good our area in Turkey is :) that hollow bread is balloon bread. Comes for free in most restaurants if people wanted to know:)
The 4 parts of my country have different geographical and cultural characteristics. These are the most beautiful places within the Black Sea region, the Aegean region, and several metropolitan cities. However, Fethiye-Oludeniz has a different importance for me because I was born and live here. Thanks for the introduce this place.
Hey guys, thanks for the great vid. Very useful and it's definitely now on my list of must do places - hopefully next year (when the Covid19 pandemic has been put to rest and normality resumes!). 32C temp! When did you guys go?!
3:15 this is Pita bread. That's how it actually looks when it comes right out of the oven (puffy). It is elongated, not round in shape like traditional pita, but it should taste the same. They also seem to season it with black seeds (nigella) on top.
Hey you guys! It looks fantastic! I am a Turkish guy who lives in the UK and seeing Turkey like this just excites me:) I am just wondering, in what season were you there?
Amazinh video, keep up the good work. Few questions please.. There are lots of different beaches in oludinez. What would be your top 3 for clear water & beautiful environment? What drone did you use? I am going turkey next month & wondering if i can fly around the beach etc.. I am thinking of looking at buying a dji mini 2.
We would love to try fresh hummus! We also have had only good experiences with Airbnb, it's also nice to cook your own meals when you away for more than a few weeks.
@@whojaryflip haha yes.... we don't add on the 'A' sound like Americans do. 'aaoutt' or 'tamarrow' haha.. it's the easiest way to spot us Canucks 🤣 We'll have to look that hotel up! - Trevor
Turkey has a lot of places like this, the water is always clear and the weather is amazing. Green and the hospitality is awesome, people there love tourists and like it when people visit turkey. Fethiye to Antalya all the roads along the sea have a lot of pretty places. I recommend Fethiye, Marmaris, Alaçarı, Bodrum, Datça, Akyaka, Kaş, Kalkan. There are amazing places!
