Best BEACHES in Croatia - Hvar Island. On of the best beaches in Croatia can be found on Hvar island. Most popular beaches on Hvar are stunningly beautiful and unspoiled. Palmizana beach Hvar and Dubovica beach Hvar are probably the most famous Hvar beaches, but others are also stunningly beautiful and much more secluded. Secluded beaches on Hvar are hidden gems where you can completely relax and get in touch with nature. Hvar is one of the most beautiful and sunniest islands in Europe. It is also one of the most luxurious beach destinations in Adriatic Sea. It has numerous coves with rich variety of different beaches like pebble beaches, sand beaches and rocky beaches. Oooh this looks like a great place to visit, we were hoping to go to Croatia last year but ran out of time on our travels. Although we don't like to spend much time on beaches we do like to go and see the sea and take in views and sunsets. I like the look of the little ones in coves and also tips about which are less popular!

Hvar isn't all clubs and beach bars, but the fact it that Hvar does have a reputation as a party island. From casual day bars to expensive island clubs, you can find it all here.

Croatia was the first country I travelled to alone in my 20s. The people were kind and helpful. Like anywhere don't go to dodgy places or act stupidly and and you'll have a good time. Sadly I was stupid at the time but learnt my lesson

Dear Rok, excellent video! I am planning a trip to Croatia as well and wanted to ask which month did you visit? We are planning a visit for the first week of May and wondering if the beaches would be at a swimable temperature?

Thanks for asking. Unfortunately it will be too cold to swim in the first week of May. Adriaic Sea gets nice and warm from mid June to the end of September. But on the other hand, the scenery will be perfect in May. I wish you an amazing trip.

Hello Rok! How can I get from the Airport Dubrovnik to the harbor Drvenik so that I can take the ferry to Hvar as you said? What is the cheapest way to get there?

If you don't have your own car, than I believe geting to Split first is the best way. From there you can take a passanger only catamaran that lands in Hvar town.

So it is the best to rent a car at the airport and then take it with the ferry to Hvar?
