Have you ever thought of doing abandoned places around Devon ? I love visiting some of the places that have been left to rot , some are very pretty and I can’t believe sometimes that they have been simply left by either councils or private owners .
Love all of these places! Have you ever been to Newton Ferrers / Noss Mayo? Such cute cottages! At low tide you can walk across the river causeway 🙂 From Noss Mayo you can walk along the river out to the headland and loop back, with a stop at Cellar Beach on the way. One of my favourites!
Your videos are lovely and your appreciation for Devon is infectious. By the way its pronounced 'solcombe' not Salcombe. I really wish people would keep quiet about thease places, for those of us who live here , our beautiful county is becoming a destination for far too many people, they buy up houses, more and more are built destroying the very countryside people come to enjoy, the southwest is quickly changing into a disgusting cosmopolitan theme park at the expense of the locals and culture, for those who live and work here and who can just about hold on and afford to stay here, its becoming too populated , too busy too commercial and just too much. Please leave us alone or come and keep quiet.
I agree! I lived there through the war years and even when I revisited in 1984 it had really changed. I visited again with my children and grandchildren in 2008, 2011 and 2012 and noticed how much the town had grown. It is sad that everywhere is growing so much even here on Vancouver Island. Guess that’s what they call progress!

I’ve been going to East Prawle for 30 years ,the walk’s & beaches between East Portalmouth & Torcross are some of the best in Britain, some aren’t for the faint hearted Great video I all so like Beer!
