I have really dry congested skin and this was so helpful thank you! I would love to see a video on products with multiple benefits and actives and who they would be best suited for. For example that effaclar serum with its multiple actives. I just get so tired of applying layer after layer sometimes. It would be great to have more products in my kit that do a multitude of things xx

I have normal to dry skin. Occasionally, i have eczema on my skin but usually during colder months. Do you think the Paula’s Choice BHA will be too harsh on my skin? Im thinking of getting it but also thinking of the inkey list salicylic cleanser instead? My skincare routine is inkeylist oat cleansing balm, cetaphil gentle cleanser, inkey list retinol serum and cerave cream

I have pretty resilient skin, I can use almost anything on it, but despite that it usually goes red with salicylic acid even in wash off products so I used to avoid it. Then a friend gave me some of the Paula's Choice 2% BHA in a spray bottle she used to have a facial mist in, and since then I haven't looked back. I love the stuff, I use it twice a day no problems (and I also use vit C in the morning and the Paula's Choice Retinol at night). It seems such a $$ outlay but the bottle is almost 120mL and it lasts for aaaages. They often have good sales on too, like free products for a certain spend or 15% / 20% off site wide (their Black Friday sale last year was great). I recommend it to anyone now! Although I would start slow - maybe just once per day and not every day of the week to start with and and use away from other irritating ingredients such as retinol at least to start with.

I have a similar skin type to you. I have had no problems with the Paulas Choice BHA. I use it at most 3 times a week if Im breaking out or just 1-2 times otherwise and I dont get any irritation. I do make sure I use other hydrating products and a thick moisturiser so this helps as well. Your other products are quite gentle and cerave cream is excellent so I think you should be fine to use it in your routine. Just keep it to a minimum and see how you go. And use it on its own, dont use on the same night as retinol. It really is an excellent product I hope you like it 😊

Hey Razia! What do I do when my skin peels after using BHAs? When I go to apply my heavy sunscreen My skin starts to remove some parts when I dab the sunscreen

@@raziamoe I have just started on a few products so a bit too early to form an opinion..Although I felt my pore size has shrinked a bit..I am using their clarifying cleanser, night moisturiser and porebright serum. Read too many online reviews and had to give it a go 😀

Hey I've really liked coming across your videos. I'm a dude trying to get my skincare basics right. I need an exfoliant and can't choose. I'm really oily but not acne prone necessarily. Should I try AHA or BHA?

Hey! So BHA can be good for oily skin even if you're not acne prone as it helps to balance those oil levels. I'd say go for BHA. Another ingredient that helps balance oily skin is niacinamide so thats something else to consider.
