Old model cycles like hero jet gold is most comfortable bicycle with upright position costing only 6000rs. But indians made it a labour low class cycle, while netherlands people ride upright position bikes. I recently bought one and making tgis coment out of my experience. I would ask reviewer to pkease review on such cycle.

Yes I totally agree with you and your view point. Normal upright position riding bicycle with a proper chain gaurd and no visible brake wires look more trendy. You should have done this video 1 month back. Decathlon guys in store i walked are not helpful, i have to settle with single speed cycle. But no regrets it helped me to reduce weight.

In 2012 I had purchased Hercules a300 for 14200₹ and the quality was ok ok not surprising but in 2022 if anyone is offering cycling in 10000₹ I can tell you for sure that the quality will be way more worse then anyone can even think of. in today's time atleast keep 15000₹ as base budget for a gear cycle
Their variety is weird. I was looking for a single speed 27.5 inch cycle but I see that I cannot have anything like that. Their lowest priced 27.5 incher is the ST100, which is 17999, geared . Then I thought if I am to spend that much let's check disc brake ones anyway, and I found that the lowest priced disc brake cycle is the ST120, which costs 24999. I mean WTF. Not everyone cares about gears. Not everyone cares about tiny 26-inch wheels. So make a simple, single speed 27.5 incher for god's sake, and price it rationally.
Abbe tu mujhe Firefox Tornado lele 15k me. Mene scooty kharid li hai or ab cycle chalane ka man nhi krta to thjhe chahiye to 15k me bech dunga. It is 3x8 gear cycle and has adjustable suspensions and weight. 27.5 inch tyres. Orange colour and it sure is a head turner.

As a kid I was always fascinated by gears in bicycles... but now I think the white between looks one of the best and most simple elegent bicycles. But as I am trying to get into cycling... I do not know if it will be suitable for longer rides..
As single speed cycle user i would say gear cycle is must for 20+ km Rides. You can rest your legs & save energy by putting bike into 1st gear or cruise at max gear while going down slope or with tailwinds However i agree to the point single speed cycle are more durable and require less maintenance, while with gear cycle you must own degreaser/greaser and basic tools to enhance gear cycle's life.

The sad part about Decathlon bikes I feel is that there is no disc brake options and for anything over 10K there should at least be disc brake options available

Btwin seems to be a nice company, but i bought a rockrider last year and now it's almost in dead condition the chain broke, brakes got loose, the valve tube has some kind of issues etc. Like.... I hold no grudges against btwin and i think I might get a new bike from btwin but.....i just can't get over the condition of my last bike.... :( (U might come to think I dropped the bike from a hill or smthn but no, i kept it quit nicely and i used it normaly , almost 4-8 km ride a day )
