Great job! That is a huge fan. I have installed so many fans I can't even remember them all. This is such a large fan, I think it might have been good to see if a friend my lend you a hand. You have a lot of patience. This was a LOT of work. I have just one suggestion. I think if you added an 6' or 8' extension to drop the fan down lower to your living area it will provide two benefits. It will increase your airflow and it will also provide a more dramatic aesthetic effect (a more dramatic wow-factor when people walk in and see it). But even if you don't drop it down, you still have a great wow-factor. I like the fact that you have a touch-panel control. It appears that it will be easy to turn the fan on and adjust it. I am a little concerned that the fan motor requires a 240 V power source. I would check your electric amp draw with the fan running to make sure that it won't cost you a fortune to run it. One of the reasons I enjoy your RU-vid channel is because you are a very real person, and you have worked your ass off to be a success. I can't tell you how much I admire those qualities. Just so you know, the wire order on that 3-phase motor doesn't matter as much as you think. If you get it wrong, the worst that will happen is that the motor will spin backwards. All you have to do to fix that is switch any two of the wires, doesn't matter which, and it will flip the wave pattern and spin the motor the right direction. I ran into similar issues when wiring up 3 phase air-conditioners on Army trucks years ago, but once I found out from an electrician how the 3 phase motors worked it became so much easier to wire them up. Which color is which phase? Nobody cares! Wire them up however you like. If it doesn't work, swap two wires and you're good.
just got a quote from them last week. have gotten a few quotes from different fan companies. they are the highest. but if they can help me compare apples to apples it may be worth it, in savings and air movement. but when i asked about CFM's which is what i have found residential fans are compared, they couldn't give it to me. just the sqft that it covers. i am a numbers nerd, so i may have to call them back and see if he can work the math with me.
