The plan is to keep releasing updates, apparently the devs have a lot of content in mind (hopefully just updates NOT DLC) like they plan to add pets and make it so you're actually buying improvements to your ship

@@superburgerman1982 No i personally think there is a ton more. I played the beta, and when it launched. Stopped playing for a long time until a week ago. The added content is def fun, and the progression for each session feels very meaningful. You can feel the stuff like the cursed cannon balls making your ship more and more of a menance. Then when you eventually engage in pvp, you have a fully stocked ship, prob tons of loot, and a ton to lose. But at the same time since you have a ton to lose, you also have an advantage cuz you have a ton of resources

just got this game. play for two hours trying to learn things, found a bunch of chests and was having a fun time, then one guy rolles up, hits me with a cannon shell that made me dance, shoot me in the head, and proceeded to wreck my shit with end game gear that i couldn't compete with, got bored and blew up my boat. camped to spot till all my stuff de spawned and lost all my progress. happened every time i see a ship....for four days. long story short. this game is now full of people with stupid amounts of power and nothing else to do but smash new players. its as fun as it sounds.
