MAC's Raizin is the only blush single I own. As you said, it goes with any eye or any lip that I wear. I'm interested in possibly expanding my blush collection this year. That Nyx one was beautiful
Boy, Amber, you are so lucky MAC products don't break you out. I'm scared to try any more MAC products due to my sensitive skin. Thanks for the great video, again!
Amber, you have been a life saver! I'm 26 & I didn't start wearing makeup until I was 24. Your channel has seriously been taught me everything I know. I especially love that you're mindful of the struggle that WOC go through in the makeup world. You are a God-send!
My mom was never around for me plus she was a light skin Hispanic female , so when I was born a brown skin Latina it was really hard to find my shade and especially my mom throwing racist slurs saying my color looks dirty on me and that makeup does not look good on brown females . Your video popped out and you thought me so much on what colors look good and how to apply em tysm!!❤️💯🙏🏽💅🏽☺️
Oh my goodness 😭 I’m so sorry you had to go through that! Unfortunate ignorant comments can come from family members or even rough...our parents. You are a strong beautiful woman! I’m so glad my content is adding value to your life. I appreciate you watching and sharing your story. 🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾
I just know you are filming this eye look. its gorgeous! Ok gotta run to my stash...hoping I own that WnW blush. If so..guess what I'm wearing tomorrow. TFS
Hey Amber, great video thank you for the tips did it this morning. Lol I'm in love with Mac's sweet as coco I also have raizisn blush I'm going get the wet n wild one. For throw back Thursday how about the cherry palette
Yes!! Let me know how you like mellow wine! I no longer have cherry palette. I ended up giving it away to someone that I knew wanted it but couldn’t afford it. Is there another palette you would like to see?
I love me some blush. This was such a good and enjoyable video 😊. Lol at the "I already fed them!", My family does that all the time. They be tryna trick you too into believing you didn't.
Oooh that NYX cinnamon is beautiful! I had that Sephora "oh my gosh" blush and returned it...although I don't know why because it's gorgeous! LOL Right now I'm working my way through the Juvia's Place Saharan Vol 1 blush palette, which I love.
My all time favorite blush is Nars Taj Mahal, my summer time blush. I also love Nars Liberte & Gina. My current go to is by Bare Minerals called "But First Coffee". It's so pretty and is work friendly. My OG blush is Mac's Format. Still pretty and I still wear it.
Even though I have textures skin, I love blushes with shimmer! Because I can be lazy & not put on highlight! Wet'n'Wild Dare to Soar is a favorite of mine, as well as Laura Geller Baked Blush-N-Brighten in Tropic Hues! For matte blush I love the Bare Minerals Gen Nude Blush in But First, Coffee. :D
I used to not wear shimmer blush for the same reason but I finally go over it lol. I’m not a highlight wearer so I feel I gives me just enough color and shimmer. Wet n wild blush is my holy grail 🙌🏾
I'm not a woman of color, so I have to be very cautious with it, but I agree with Wayne Goss, NARS blush in Exhibit A is my favorite and works for every skin tone.
The ORIGINAL Black Radiance Blushes! My favorite is still "Soft Honey"! The pigment on all of them is off of the charts though! Spiced Ginger, Plum Sorbet, 14kt Gold, Chocolate Truffle, Ruby Treasure.
@@amberpacholok No prob! FYI-these aren't the round shaped ones sold in stores now. These were in square compacts (like the powders). May be found in an old school beauty supply or turn up on Ebay-these are old school, lol.
NYX cinnamon was one of the first blushes I purchased several years ago, Rose Kimberly recommended! It’s so pigmented I still have the same one lol. I’ve wanted to try Mac MSF in sunpower for some time now but I wasn’t sure how it would show up on me. Now I know I can use it as a blush, I also want to try that Wet n Wild one. The Nars foundation looks beautiful. They recently ( or maybe I’m late) added new shades to Sheer glow so they may have my shade now, I gotta get a sample. I actually love blush l, but I don’t own a lot of it. I agree it can pull a look together
I think you will like sun power a lot. It’s beautiful as a blush. I saw sheer glow added more shades to their line. I’m not a fan of sheer glow however I do think that Nars makes some of the best foundation shades.
THANK YOU for making this video❣️ I am totally a blush lover and I have one you should try ~ Maybelline Fit Me in Berry 👌🏾 Thank me later, you will love it! I have told so many of my chocolate friends about this and they love it! NYX cinnamon is 🔥 on WOC! Great video of how to apply also, gracias 💜
You are blending the blush back towards the contour area/hollow of the cheekbone right? I often feel conflicted about blush because applied too high it flattens my cheekbones and I have to add a lot of highlighter to bring them back out again. I'm thinking that you blend it back and down to leave the top of the cheekbone without blush; is it so that area can look highlighted?
I blend it back into the contour area because I feel like it gives my face an extra lift. This is a technique that I wouldn’t do on everyone. It’s very depended on the facade shape and structure. For instance if I’m working on someone and they already have a very prominent cheek bones or strong bone structure I wouldn’t do this.
@@amberpacholok Thanks. I'll give it a try./ Just tried this, doesnt work for my face sadly. I'll stick to applying a little blush to the back of the cheekbone mostly or as a cheek contour hugging the highlight area. ;)
Are you using a fluffy blush brush? Also does the blush seem to have a hard layer on it? I wonder if the top is dried out and maybe that’s why you’re not picking up any of the pigment
