Ow. I work at a Library, only one a month? I'm picking the 5 star for Emily books. 'How to Say Babylon' Safiyah Sinclair, 'The Brief History of the Dead' Kevin Brockmeier, 'The Summer Book' Tove Jaansen, 'The Wonder Engine' by T Kingfisher, 'Names For the Sea' Sara Moss, 'In Praise of Difficult Women' Karen Karbo, 'Why Fish Don't Exist' Lulu Miller, 'The Girl Who Kept the Castle' Ryan Graudin, 'Of Time and Turtles' Sy Montgomery. So far this month 'Diavola' by Jennifer Thorne is in the top spot, it's a perfect Halloween read.

Lessons in Chemstry, The Other Bennet Sister, 84 Charring Cross Road, Three Act Tragedy, Funny Story, Carrie Soto is Back, (skipped june because of work), The Last Devil to Die, We Solve Murders
I'm so excited for all of those end of the year booktok videos, they are my favorite 😃 It was very fun to try to predict which books you would pick each month and I got quite a few right! Yey!
I was in a reading slump and immediately put down two books just Today. I saw your videp, remembered i had purchased „All the colours in the dark“ and started reading it. I am at Page 125 now, after less then an hour🙂↔️ so far so good!
My best books of the year so far are "The Will of the Many", "The Sword of Kaigen" and "Into the Drowning Deep" !! (I listened to both of them on audiobook while at work)
That’s why I didn’t want to pick in advance… no time to overthink it haha Funny Story was a bit disappointing for me. Not as good as Beach Read and Book Lovers
So out of the first three quarters of the year, do you have a favorite per quarter? This is what I have been doing this year in order to see which one will be my favorite for 2024. I have Winter Solstice, Private Equity, and Brotherless Night for each quarter so far.
For me it would be: Pride and Prejudice In Other Lands Arrows of the Queen Fellowship of the Ring Fruits Basket You Should be so Lucky The Blade Itself Funny Story Emily Wilde (book 1)
