The Athena Club books were some of my favorites this year! I read all the Wayward Children books for the first time over Christmas break and they were amazing and also new favorites. I can't wait to read Black Sun and The Wicker King!
You’re so pretty Riley and I love your book recommendations. Reading novels is hard for me so I stick to writing and reading poetry more so but I still love hearing your opinions on the stories :3
i read literally every book from this list, mostly because of your recs, and gave every single one four or five stars!! (apart from black sun which i couldn’t read yet because it’s my book club’s feb botm). thank you for helping me discover some new all time favourites like the strange case of the alchemist’s daughter, the year of the witching, the house in the cerulean sea, and the library of the unwritten (which i have already reread in 2021 because it was my perfect book). hope 2021 treats you just as well! oh, and over the woodward wall had a sequel confirmed! it’s going to be a quartet and book two is coming out this year. check goodreads ☺️
Black Sun also made it into my list! The Year of the Witching, Over the Woodward Wall and The Library of the Unwritten are all books that i need to get to already 😭 AND K. ANCRUM YES!!!!!!!
You’re my favorite Romance go to person,am new to the genre.I have been watching less RU-vid videos and reading more but your video is always hard scroll pass ☺️
I have almost read all of these books from your recommendations! The House in the Cerulean Sea was my absolute favorite book of 2020. Also, where did you get your tree lamp thats in the background?
I read The House In The Cerulean Sea because of your reading vlog! And it was definitely my favorite book of the year!! Thanks, Riley! Love your channel. ❤❤
🔱 Muse 🔱 Indie Storyteller 🔱 Tarot Card Reader 🔱 Dancer 🌸 I would love it if you read my book too, Riley 🧜🏻♀️💓 'Black Jaguar by Rachael Twig' 👁 Based on what you have said about the ones in this video, I really think you might like it.
LOOOVED The Year of the Witching, such good viiibbbes. The Wicker King surprised me so much! I can't wait to read The Weight of the Stars. It's next on my TBR.
I feel like 2021 is going to be the year of K. Ancrum for me. When I first heard of her books I was kind of like, meh maybe someday. But the more I hear the more I want to read them, and I think my reading tastes have also shifted a bit so I will like them more now than I would have if I read them when I first heard of them a couple years ago.
I couldnt with the Jack and Jill story, The way the author talks down on pregnancy and so on made me sick. As someone who couldnt carry to term it hit me
i also felt Wayway Children vibes from Over the woodward wall from what i read! i really need to continue it because i’d love to have that in my brain before reading middlegame
I just read the proof for book no.6 of the Wayward Children series and oh my goodness, it was mind blowing. It is set in The Hooflands with Reagan wow it really was spectacular and is my favourite out of the series so far x
