I can see why some people don't like Ali Hazelwood, however for me her romances are just the ultimate-feel-good books. Yes they are predictable and super cheesy, but if a recipe works for you, why change it? ✨️

I maintain that Levi is what makes Love on the Brain so great. Like Adam who? Levi has been pining and is just a great fictional boyfriend and person. He’s been to therapy! Swoon!

It's nice seeing someone else love Killers of a Certain Age! I just thought it was fun ride and spent the whole time imagining my favorite actresses in the 60+ range as assassins, haha. I also happened to love The Way of Kings and Lovelight Farms this year, and rounding out my favorites are We Ride Upon Sticks, Something Wilder, and Greywaren.

Picking one favorite is soooo hard, but I'm leaning towards Chasing Cassandra by Lisa Kleypas. Tom just utterly stole my heart. For a favorite series that isn't the Ravenels, Tal Bauer's Executive Office series is SO good. If you liked the show Scandal, this series is a must read! It's MM and between the president of the United States (who is a widower and always identified as straight) who befriends and then falls for his secret service agent (who is openly gay). The way it played out was so cute and steamy, and then the way the world reacts (other country leaders, the public, etc) was so well done. Definitely an intense and angsty series with lots of political-based action/suspense elements in later books. I was hooked on the audios (it has 3 full length books and a novella set between books 1 and 2) and then I immediately bought the physical versions for my shelves (I also think they're on KU).

It's funny sometimes, when I catch myself smiling at videos like this, realize parasocial relationships are real; I know I don't really know you and we're not actually friends, but I' ve watched your channel for so long now that it's almost like getting updates from a friend that lives far away. Anyway, always rooting for you. Happy end of the year and may 2023 bring all the good things for you and your family, Chandler :) P.S: Have you tried reading Ali Hazelwood's Ao3 works? she's got some good stuff there too.

I don't want to sound like a bit*h, but I find quite funny the Heartless thing "she can be a house wife because he is whelty" when she is the heir of her parents fortune (if I remember correctly her father is a very famous rock star and her mom was something else). Not in the sence that is bad to be a house wife with a welthy husband (like, if that's your dream, You go girl) but in the sence that she culd do that regardles, she is well off (sorry for my english, is My second lenguage)

🗣️🗣️🗣️I NEED you to read the Forsaken series by Penelope Barsetti. 3 books on KU. I’m really enjoying it I’m almost done with book 2. So far it’s good fantasy romance. Enough plot going on. Plenty of action. Multiple story lines/POV that are all as enjoyable as the overarching story. So far it’s like 4.5 stars for me.

Here's the thing.... there's a difference between staying home and not working because you personally genuinely don't want to work or because you're still figuring your life path out versus staying at home basically because you are being forced to even though you don't want to stay at home. I think even independent girl bosses should be able to appreciate that it would be nice if you could pursue you career or education or whatever else you wanted in life literally just because you wanted to-not because you literally HAVE to?? 😅😅🙃🤷‍♀️ idk. I feel like there's some nuance that is kind of lost on people sometimes. Like.. being forced to depend on someone else because you have no choice isn't nice, but having someone you can depend on like 'just in case' if you ever did need to[ like in an emergency or just like a bit of a safety net] that's not really a bad thing? I dunno~ I suck at explaining, sometimes!!😁😁🙃🤷‍♀️😅😹 Yeah, sure, nothing wrong with it if you're a totally solo flier who never needs any help even in tough times-but there's nothing wrong with partnerships that support each other through good and bad either, whether that partnership enables you to do something you literally couldn't do on your own OR if that partnership is simply a happy bonus it's nice to have around even though you could manage just as without it as you can with it. Different stripes for different types, and/or for different circumstances/situations. 🙂🙂 Nobody should ever feel shamed just for being a different person than someone else-as if there is only one, singular most ultimately 'right' way to do everything that absolutely works best for literally everybody! (There is no such way!!!) 🤍

So many good books and new TBR adds in this list but I will never ever understand the hype over terms and conditions. The pacing was fucking weird and the characterization and motivations for the leads was so absolutely illogical i dnfed it and I almost NEVER DNF a book. My personal faves: Devil you Know - Elizabeth O'roark The Worst Guy- Kate Canterbury Path of Temptation series by Auryn Hadley Lovelight Farms and In the Weeds by B.K. Borison The Dead Romantics - Ashley Poston
