Drawing in perspective is perhaps one of the most daunting tasks for any animator, painter, comic artist, or illustrator. No matter what, it takes so much time, and it is so easy to get things wrong.
As in all things art, it helps to learn all the rules and theory before pulling out your pencil and attacking that 3 point perspective city-scape. While learning the rules and theory, you can also learn the shortcuts and time savers.
