Totally correct.. immersion is the way..read, read, read choose challenging texts. I started with Ibn Al Qayyim Madaarij AsSaalikeen, then Shifaa AlAleel, then AsSawaaiq Al Mursalah..no help from anyone ever!! Every time I would ask the teachers in the masjid they would say they could not understand the old classic books, and they couldn't believe I was actually able to cope with them. The reason I am writing this is to encourage all listeners that Allah is enough for you. In every sajdah I would ask Allah to help me. يا ربي زدني علما، يا الفتاح افتح لي باب العلم، أستعين بك وحدك انت عليم بذات الصدور. Allah has told us in Quran that He is enough سيكفيكم الله Don't hesitate, I started at age fifty. Now I am 75. Still reading eight hours a day. Memorizing Surat Al Baqarah helps too to fight shaytaan who hates anyone to learn Islam. But you must spend many hours alone in full concentration and keep up your Sunnah prayers every time.
Asalaam mu alaykum wa ragmatullahi wa barakaatu... Im asking did you had a small arabic background as you knew the sarf n nahu hey...that is why you could do it beloved..if you did have...coz I know what you talking about.. But for others get just the basics the madi mudari as you read things will start making sense..1word can change but get the qasas ambiyaa and start from nabie Ebrahim a.a

There are a few factors in how to understand Arabic easily . One plan I discovered that successfully combines these is the Mirykal Lingo Guide (look for it on google) without a doubt the no.1 remedy that I have ever heard of. Check out all the super information .
I personally believe gateway to Arabic is underrated , it’s one of the best books series made , I teach my students it and use the dialogues from bayna yadayk
I 100% agree with you beyond a shadow of a doubt! My children are learning from the Gateway to Arabic and they are absolutely loving it! Mind you, they have an amazing teacher as well so I am truly blessed!

Seek and you shall find. Some tips that might help in shaa allah: 1. Ask your local islamic bookshop, a student of knowledge or even the imam 2. If you go to umrah or hajj you will find many bookshops in mecca and madina 3. If you know someone or a student of knowledge going to Egypt, or of the likes, tell them to bring you back some of the books, they are much cheaper abroad in shaa allah 5. Amazon, eBay or darrusalam Lastly, don't forget to make dua that allah aids you and others and gives all of us sincerity and success

So here is the issue that needs to be clarified: Many people use the abbreviation “SAW,” “SAWS,” or “PBUH” to fulfill this obligation in their writing. Is this something that fulfills the obligation of sending the salaah and salaam on the Messenger? Let us look now to some of the statements of the scholars regarding this practice. The Permanent Committee of Scholars in Saudi Arabia headed by ‘Abdul-‘Azeez ibn ‘Abdillaah ibn Baaz issued the following verdict when asked about the validity of abbreviating the salaah on the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam): “The Sunnah is to write the entire phrase “sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam,” since it is a kind of supplication, and supplication is worship, (in one’s writing) just as it is in one’s speech. So to abbreviate it using the letter SAAD or the word SAAD-LAAM-‘AYN-MEEM is not a supplication nor is it worship, whether it occurs in speech or writing. For this reason, this abbreviation was not used by the the first three generations, those that the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) testified to their goodness.” [8] “SAAD” and “SAAD-LAAM-‘AYN-MEEM” are often used in some Arabic books. The English equivalents of these abbreviations would be: SAW, SAWS, SAAWS, PBUH, and the likes.

asalamualaykum when memorising mutoon do you memorise them verbatim ( i.e nukhabtul fikr, usool ul thlatha etc) should a student finish memorising the quran and mastering it before starting to memorise mutoon. how does the memorisation of the matoon compare to memorising the quran... how often would you review and is there a point in memorising matoon for someone who doesn't have a lot of time to review. jazhkhallah khairun for your time i hope you reply and maybe do a video on memorising matoon and hadeeth texts
sunnah sunnah وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته There are a lot of factors to take under consideration. If you are young and have a good Qur’ān teacher, then it is best to memorize the Qur’ān at a young age. But if someone is struggling with finding a good resource or unable to memorize the Qur’ān due to age, then you should not put all other studies on an indefinite hold .. then memorize what you can from smaller Mutūn or at least learn the knowledge that is OBLIGATORY upon every Muslim (Aqīdah, Fiqh etc.)
sunnah sunnah Memorizing mutūn is much harder because Allāh made the Qur’ān easy for us to memorize. Retaining mutūn would take twice as much work (or more) then retaining your Qur’ān (can’t practice mutūn in Salāh)
Question shaykh is the madinah Arabic course a good starter book for the Arabic language?.. also after I complete the three books inshaa Allaah what would you recommend after that?
hey do the madina books! Wallah it's amazing, I'm doin it. I can already understand much parts of grammar, so please go ahead. First let's finish madinaj books, then we will think about what next. Don't give it up please, you won't regret it ! ❤️

Since oil has been discovered, last boat of arab traders did not return and now they don't live in non arab land. Salaf from arab land advise quite often same way rhat they should pour arabic in big utensil and one should jump in it and stay immersed and hope they learn it some day. They will not leave their comfortable homes the way westerns go all out ro teach English. They will not invest outside arab world to make even single arabic nediun school or start any comic series for kids in Fusha or any newspaper, magazine or dictionary with native Arabic recorded audio and example for each words as in case of Longman English dictionary corpus. Companions took quran all over the world and it was upto arab world to spread arabic language but noth local aalim and arab both failed in making arabic as first language of all Muslims in the world. As a result now Arabs r leaving fusha and going after English n study in so called English medium school and non arab are happy with translation in local language and busy yawning while reciting quran without understanding or while in Salah half asleep.
@@cowdyayaad6378I don’t know if he can or not but the title of the book he didn’t pronounce it correctly. He changed the letter of the word and also the pronunciation of Damascus was not correct. I would not want to learn Arabic from him.
It's very hard to find an environment 😞 . I didn't learn english through grammer but only through practical speaking. Even though I used to get average marks in English language I was among the most fluent in speaking. Learning arabic is like learning C++ or any other programming language. The world opens to you and you no longer depend on millions of articles with 1000s of opinions but on primary sources.
@@MrChi31 I own all three, I’m currently halfway through Madinah book 2 I really recommend you start the course it’s amazing. Everything is for free search for #1 learn Arabic for English speaking students” on RU-vid and there should be a video with a lot of views, the videos in total are 96 for all 3 books. The teachers name is Asif Meherali and the channel is called LearnArabic he is amazing I thoroughly recommend it. So far I can understand quite a number of verses, but not the difficult ones. By the end of the course they say you will be able to understand about 80% of the Qur’an which sounds about right.
The book أساس البلاغة isn't a book in Balaghah... it's a dictionary... any mid level beginner talib knows this. Whoever reads this, know this guy barely knows the titles of the books. Stay away from him.
Asalam Alaikum! Many thanks to the author of the channel for the recommendations! The problem with many people is that they want to take a "magic pill" or get "secret knowledge" and immediately have skills and abilities. However, the truth of life is that knowledge, skills, and abilities do not come by themselves. You can't learn a foreign language without doing anything, without wasting your time and effort, just like you can't learn to ride a bike lying on a comfy couch, listening to lectures and watching videos about "modern methods of learning" on a bike. To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. I don't have time to study and analyze a huge amount of information. My goal is to master the basic knowledge of a foreign language as quickly as possible and already start earning money effectively in the international arena. I settled on the practical guide by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot's Notes: practical tips for learning foreign language". This book is always in my bag. If I have a problem while learning a language, I quickly find the answer in this book. There are many different techniques and tips for learning a foreign language in Polyglot Notes. I have made my own individual schedule and plan for language learning. Now I know what I am going to study, how I am going to study, when I am going to study and what results I am going to achieve. No problem could stop me! With an effective language learning plan my professional skills are more and more in demand internationally every day. Friends, don't stop there! Everyone has talents that millions of people around the world need! Learn the language and make your ideas and dreams come true! Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video! Your videos motivate me.
For vocabulary: Type "Understand Quran academy" and start with the 50% vocab series to 90%, this will help you understand the Quran. Then for general vocabulary, study the Bayna yadayk series (type Al Lisan), then Qira'at ul Al Rashidah, then Qisas An Nabiyyeen, then more serious books like Suwar min hayaat as-sahaba/tabieen, then Al Nadharat by Al Manflooti, then study the Quran word for word and Arabic poetry. Remember to listen daily for 1-2h (mainly the Quran at the beginning) so your brain gets used to the language which is how you naturally learned your native language to begin with. Be consistent and inshaAllah by the time you finish bayna yadayk, you can listen to the other books being explained in Arabic without the need of a Englsh speaking teacher.
1) Read Arabic - 6 months to 1 year 2) Grammar - 200 hours of study 3) Fluency - Writing, listening comprehension. Immersion in a country. I think 1 & 2 is as far as people go with vocabulary ongoing.
Shaykh which books or audio books do you suggest to read Arabic with the ultimate goal to read the Quran and pronounce words correctly? I know this may seem elementary but I've always struggled reading and thus cannot memorize from recitation. If any other viewers can suggest something it will be highly beneficial for me inshallah
I would recommend Quran Revolution with Imam Wisam Sharieff. I did a course with them and it really improved my reading if you can’t find a local teacher
You first have to learn it to then speak it brother. what i did was first the Madinah books then watched Arabic stories for Children ( made from clay dolls ) i think it called Qasas Ambiyah from the Quran then Bayna Yadayk. And AlhamduLillah i am much better in speaking and understanding. The most Important thing is ... To stick to it and Finish it without leaving it. If you can do that then you will be successful in just a few years.

@J J wa Alaikum Assalaam ya Agie i apologize for the late reaction. that is so true that the only way to understand our Deen the right way Is in the Arabic Language . I did the Madinah books of the first edition called ,,, li gairi natiqeen bihi. i did that through following the real classes that where put online that are on the site LQ Toronto. you have many handy lessons there . after that i did the bayna yadayk and other grammatical books that are easy available online. but the main thing is Agie to stand fast on learning it. So if you do the 3 books of Madinah and the 3 books of Bayna you will have a very good understanding of the pure Arabic and will be able to read and understand the Arabic books of the learned ones of our Deen. Hold on it till the end and you will be amazed and understand why the Qurán is in this language. Hope you will succeed in this Agie Alkareem.
