Definitely seems to be lacking mids... I'd bet the tribit stormbox blast is still better

But the blast seems to be too heavy (5.45kg) and not ideal for many people to bring outdoor, let alone boombox 3 (6.7kg). I also have compared Xdobo Beast 1982 which is at 34.9kg and now this boom 2 plus is slightly heavier at 3.8kg. I have compared these 4 in terms of size and weight. I think u might need to rightly tune the customised eq to have better mids in the boom 2 plus.

Theoretically yes. In practice I find that Bluetooth speakers tend to have at least some latency , so it might lag behind the image.

Thanks for the review. Do you know if I plug the speaker to an external power bank will it try to charge the bank or will it allow the bank to charge the speaker as I use the speaker as in the beach let’s say?

Why don't they use the Bluetooth codec APT X HD or better yet LDAC or LOSSLESS Bluetooth? They are using SBC which is the worst to use only 320kbp/s witch is a VERRY LOSSY. So, this speaker wont sound any better than a MP3 at 320kbp/s. All you're ever going to get out of this is MP3 quality which is GARBAGE. Don't expect anywhere near CD quality sound from this it's IMPOSSIBLE with verry lossy compression that this unit does on the Bluetooth signal path.
