I go into the hood to source all the time and find good stuff. Especially from stores like burlington/ross, I tend to find items marked all the way down on clearance because they are styles that don't sell well in the city but will sell if I put them online. And I'm happy to go spend money in those stores to keep them open for the people who need then.

One of my best thrift finds (a Thom Browne $5,500 dress) was at a Goodwill in a bad area. Got it for $30. I've found a number of great things there, not sure where they are coming from. 😂

Some of my best flips are finds from south la and deep in the valleys! I take solace in knowing all this competition who don’t like to travel. Even though there’s plenty to go around for everyone!
