We just returned home from three weeks on Maui stayed at Kahana Falls thought about you hope things are looking up. After seeing all the pictures at was still very sad t see all that was lost first hand. Old Lahana town was one of our favorite go to places. Aloha Lahana Strong.

We were just there staying down the beach at the Westin. We walked thru the Sheraton several times on our walk and it just seamed sad and empty.

Hi Steve, nice Buffet. nice beach always on maui. I am love buffet many choie Wow there is the best I think. price not to bad. I went to Kihei Caffe alone spend about $55 got not much!😂

Great video Steve, nice buffet although I usually go to Java Jazz for breakfast, I'll give it a try next time, hoping you and Patricia are able to find somewhat permanent housing soon, I love the Kaanapali Beach Hotel but 10 months is a long time to be living in a hotel room, BTW, did Maui Brewing take over the Hui Hui restaurant? Thought I read that somewhere, also, has Star Noodle opened yet? Take care Steve, stay well and keep the video's coming, God bless Maui

I know this is opinion based. I sure liked the Hyatt as it had more options including salmon. But the views are incredible at the Sheraton.

Hello. Thank you for posting updates. They are greatly appreciated. I was there last year and am a lifelong visitor to Maui. I am planning a solo trip in October. Can you suggest any volunteer work or donations that still might be needed? Or anywhere I can get more information?

Aloha and Thank You for commenting. I'm not sure what might be needed in October. The Maui Humane Society always needs volunteers, and most of the "hubs" that were assisting locals with supplies and food, etc. have since closed. By the end of June most everyone will be out of the hotels and in some type of housing. We'll see you in October and pleas Travel Safe. Best Aloha Wishes.
