Always go to 19th street and the Cafe around 11:00 for the Philly Cheese steak omelet and their coffee best cooks and staff in town

Like the Sahara for breakfast but tuff at times finding parking.

Fractured Prune is great. I only kept it out of this competition because it's really a specialty eatery. However, it does make my best of restaurants videos. Check them out on my channel.

Layton's has a solid traditional breakfast. Used to eat there exclusively for a number of years before there was a lot of competition.

Layton’s down by 16th st is my Fav. Our kids love the muffins and donuts.

We have been to Sahara for breakfast at least 8 times for breakfast. Worst part is trying to find a parking spot for sure. Found bay side a joke. They do not offer pancakes or toast. Paid $5 forxa shot glass of so so orange juice. Been to both Layton's for breakfast & lunch. Like the location at South end of town. Twice the Layton's next to Princess Royale had the dumbest laziest college clowns working there. Tried to eat at the bad monkey but they were closed some days during first year of pandemic.

@@JohnThomas-lq5qp yeah. My friend and I will be staying at the Sahara in august so we won’t have to worry about parking. I’m excited to try their breakfast! There’s another Bad Monkey just outside of Ocean City (off of the 50 drawbridge side) that is always open for breakfast. The one in ocean city has been closed so I know what you mean.

Agree about Sahara. Their food isn’t anything special and when you complain about the bad service they treat you like crap. If you check out their reviews it’s not an uncommon issue

Layton's downtown better then the one next to Princess Royale Motel. Shara is a very good place for breakfast. Wish they stayed opened thru November when we come down for our other week in OC.

General's Kitchen is solid. It's definitely a place that has carved out a breakfast niche in Ocean City.

@@yessmitty777 Not upset at all! I certainly have been to many breakfast spots in Ocean City as I've been going to the beach every summer for the past 30+ years. I'm sorry if I didn't pick any of the places you like, but as I explained at the beginning of the video, these are just my picks. I'm nobody special and there's no scientific formula to predict who has the best breakfast. It's all personal preference. You are free to disagree, but being polite about it helps! Bob, I'm not cool enough for self-pretentious labels. And you're also not using the term foodie the way you think you are. My selection is consistent with thousands of people who voted Bayside Skillet as a top choice on TripAdvisor - one of the premises of this entire video. Listen closer next time.

@@TravelwithTrey I didn't mean to sound pretentious or "self-pretentious." Thousands of people also love the Dough Roller. Doesn't hold a lot of water. You went through a lot of work to make a video about breakfast places. I apologize for not being more respectful in disagreeing with you. I've only gone there once and the service was spot on. It's the food that was not good. If you're a crepe type person who wants a fruity breakfast, it might be ok. If you want a "real" breakfast, eggs, meat, potatoes, benedict, or other traditional meal? Nope. Denny's comes closer. Denny's! I know they've changed their menu over the years. It may be better now.

We can also disagree that there's something to be said about many people liking a restaurant. If a menu is delivering garbage that place won't remain in business too long.
