Thanks to @Ic1clez_, @amphiapple7890, and @Chom_Chom for telling me about these bizarre strategies either in the comments of the last Weird Strat Video and/or through Discord!
Strategy #10: Okay so first put down a banana farm. Then put down a dart monkey to swallow the banana. Then get a cave monkey to swallow the dart monkey. Next find a dinosaur…
Another funny TT5 strat to note, the elite sniper buff affects transformed snipers, so you can use elite sniper as a carry up to TT5 and then take advantage of the buffs to the transformed snipers
Just a reminder, since this video was made last update I think: shinobis no longer gain extra range from top crosspathing! Instead the seeking shuriken gives the extra range, and the top path gives atk speed and damage. To note, this is also an overall nerf to the shinobi strat, as now you lose that extra bit of atk speed when crosspathing them.
A strat I love using is apache prime with glue storm, the storm will remove apache's weakness against ddts while also buffing it's damage by a lot. Also glue storm is cheap so the apache prime's insane price isn't an issue
Great video! I absolutely live for off-meta strategies. I think these only scratch the surface, as at this point (I've played this game for too many hours I'm willing to share), these are all relatively tame to me. That being said, I have some other strategies on this level of strangeness I want to share: - recursive cluster spam with jones - artillery battery spam with jones - Permabrewed nevamiss army There are so many more. I love the flexibility this game brings; it's what really makes this game so replayable.
Tbh my favorite thing to do with ninjas is to get BOTH grandmaster and master bomber, 20x shinobi stack them both, and add a middle path village for DDTs
just tried pop and awe + moab elim... its SO OP i had a cash save up of 50k on spice islands chimps with this strat and barely did too much micro its that good
025 dart monkey 502 wizard monkey Sauda 205 spike factory or 520 or 502 heli pilot Helped me with almost all the beginner maps and a bit of intermediate maps
Weirder sub optimal strategy are so much fun. One of my favorites is the primary monkeys, top path village, and a inferno ring to top it off. It's not a good strat since you have to be very careful rounds 60-80 as you need to start saving for the inferno ring before super ceramics
I didn’t see anyone ever using the archmage in chimps so I wanted to make a strat that utilises it. I’ve used it loads and got tons of BBs. It starts normal by getting a dart monkey and sub (or another dart monkey if there isn’t any water) and saving up for psi. Then you get a wizard which you make a 2-2-0. Then you get a submerge and support (or upgrade the darts to 0-0-2). For the Moab you unsubmerge the sub, upgrade the wizard to 3-2-0 and get a 0-2-4 ice monkey nearby. Upgrade the sun to a reactor after the Moab for camo purple popping power. Then you just save up for archmage and icicle impale. Then you just give them whatever support is necessary. I usually opt for a 4-0-0 village and one or two first strikes.
Funny thing is Archmage used to be one of the best tier 5 monkeys in the game when btd6 first came out. However, so many towers have gotten buffed since then while Archmage has stayed pretty much the same so it's generally viewed as sub-optimal nowadays when compared to other stronger towers and its popping power to price.
- Geraldo + snipers - Random early game stuff + 6 spiked mine factories - Wizard axis - Sauda + super brittle (swap out nerfed tack zone for something else, I guess? 😢 but throw in a relentless glue for extra sauda synergy) - Two dinosaurs (43 power = oneshot super cerams) and a whale (64 power = oneshot zomg) - Dank champ and something (I used permacharge) - Geraldo + transform dart monkeys into x3x supers - BEZ + something (done on Cornfield) - Gwen + inferno ring + wizard lord phoenix - Is an ultraboost strat viable somehow I wonder? - Before tack nerf I went for tack zone + 9 overdrives on midnight mansion lol
Why is no one talking about the bma not bmaing things like it does no damage when at all even when it pops the red bloon so the 1,000,000,000 pops on bma is gonna be harder it u dont have so y is no one talking about it probably cause your to focused on the new boss
People meed to use master bomber more. I feel like grandmaster ninja gets all the credit but I like bottom path more. Hear me out: The flash bomb already has a lot of pierce (I think like 60) by itself and can handle groups of bloons pretty well. Shinobis give attack speed, which is great because at max stacks it's basically a perma stun (and is truly a perma stun with call to arms and stuff like that), but what's underlooked is the pierce given by shinobis. It quadruples the pierce of the bomb, so you have no worries about being overwhelmed by sheer abounts of smaller bloons. The high attack speed also allows it to stun DDTs more reliably. Overall, similar price of bloon crush but much better than bloon crush if you have the space. But we haven't even touches the damage yet. Each bomb deals like 10 damage or something and multiple are thrown out every second. Each sticky bomb deals almost double damage than a MAD projectile and 300 damage to 5 nearby moabs (times four, remember!), so you're basically got an inferno ring on hand. Also, we all know how good sticky bomb is against moabs in the midgame so there's no inability to save up. Especially if you combine it with the right towers! Point three: the strategy. Hear this out: sauda, glaive lord, shinobis, and master bomber. Sauda by herself on most maps saves up for sticky bomb. Shinobis handle midgame plus extra stunned damage from sauda (so make sure she's in the midlde of where bombs stun the bloons). Save up for master bomber. And just because it also has nice BAD damage, glaive lord to handle rushes of smaller class bloons. Impenetrable. Thank you for reading that.
I recently did a r140 CHIMPS strategy on Dark castle with 90k left over after the fortified and normal BADs. A permabrewed master bomber army with Ezili and a few MOAB presses destroyed all of the super-dense rounds between 98 and 138.
Here’s a dumb strat. Play a game of easy medium or hard and save up for a farm (WITHOUT PLACING ANY MONKEYS) then rush a 0-0-3 farm to get more lives per round and continue that
Uhh what? You only get 1 life per round per marketplace. You will die before even getting your first marketplace. Especially since you dont get money from leaked bloons.
*strategy* a strategy I used is * hero sauda *towers* 2-0-5 wizard 0-2-5 tack shooter 4-0-1 Alchimyst 4-2-0 village And the rest of the money is your choice
