If you want to know the upgrades of the PRO vs MAX, here you go: - Module has 160 more sound samples - Rack uses better screws - Rack is bigger - Rack is more sturdy - 10" Chokeable Ride and Chokeable Crash Cymbal - 8" Dual Zone Tom Pads (from the 8" Single Zone Tom Pads, though the Alesis Nitro Max Module allows a rim sound on Tom 1-4) - Same snare but deeper - 8" Mesh Drum Tower (from the 6" Drum Tower)
I have the Nitro Max, but I’m selling it-just bought the pro. The rack is so flimsy and small on the Max. Worth the $200 JUST for that. I ended up going to Home Depot and getting some PVC and gorilla taping pieces to the bottom to raise it by 3 inches and it still wasn’t high enough. For me at least.
I am looking to buy the best bang for my buck for my daughter. How would you compare the simmons titan 70 to the alesis Nitro PRO? I heard the simmons rack comes pre-built but if that's the only thing that is better, I will go with the pro.
@@ln455 Personally, I would go for the Alesis Nitro Pro. Although the Simmons Titan 70 comes with 4 toms and 4 cymbals. The Alesis Nitro Pro can be expanded using the expansion kit of Nitro Mesh or Nitro Max (if they won't make one for Pro). You also get 90 days of Drumeo, Free BFD player, and a Dark Mahogany Pack (which usually is a paid kit sound pack) for free included. Both kits have pretty big racks so either kit can be played throughout your drumming adventure. PS: Building a drum rack is pretty simple, it took me 3-4 hour without prior knowledge by myself. Just search a tutorial on RU-vid.
