In this video, I wanted to share this awesome 3D printed diesel heater or portable AC directional vent. Close up the air gaps around your vent tube with this while also controlling the direction the air is blowing.
It's a small thing, but can change the quality of your trips for not much money!

That’s a great product. I use a dryer vent that you would penetrate your outside wall with on your house with a vent pointed down so I can dry my shoes out when they are wet. It also acts like an anchor when you zip it up.

I like that. I'd like it better if he would sell the 3D print file by itself. Get a small fan for inside the tent. It will help with the hot/cold area.

Not sure if he would or not, but you might hit him up.

I'd be interested in seeing it in use (either pictures or videos). I went to their website and didn't see pictures in use either. I like the idea as I was looking into some options for a diesel heater.

Yeah, it was 93 so no diesel heater for me. But I did use it with my AC and it worked great. You want some sort of hose clamp to hold whatever you hook up on, but almost everything you'd hook up comes with those.

Would it be difficult to add a screen between the hose and the vent? If for some reason at night the ac or heater shuts off, bugs and whatever can still get in

I’m sure it’s probably possible. But the tube hook up to the AC or the diesel heater and unless they go through the combustion chamber of the diesel heater or through the air conditioner I don’t think they’d get in. I probably wouldn’t worry about it.

Cool but where do you need diesel heat in the summer?
@AllThingsOverlanding
@AllThingsOverlanding 3 месяца назад
In the summer, I use it with my Zero Breeze AC, haha. Then swap it to the diesel heater in the winter.

@@AllThingsOverlandingok now that makes sense! My diesel on low is still toasty in 10 degree weather so I wasn’t gonna say!
@AllThingsOverlanding

@@Popcornbeetle yeah, definitely not rocking a diesel heater in 90° temps. 😂 I don’t break out the diesel heater until single digits or negative temps usually. That is the majority of the time when I camp, but this thing works in winter or summer!
