My first gold chain was bought from jacoje and i went with the flat curb. I don't regret it. I went with a 14k 8mm 22inch. I could've went a little shorter since im not a big guy but i dont regret it.

Just got a flat curb 4mm 18k. I wouldn’t recommend it so far, not for for daily at least, as it’s sooooo thin. Like not even 1mm… Seems it’ll kink links super easy. Kinda ‘sharp’ too.. I’d just save up and get at least the 4mm rope

Just bought my wife a 4.5 18” flat curb. She loves it. I have a 7mm 22”.

Really love the shine per dollar factor on flat curbs. I’m currently deciding between the 4mm flat curb, 3mm rope, or 3.2mm heavy link for my first gold chain and the struggle is real! I really love the heavy but it’s expensive. The curb is great for the price, but I’d prefer a round link chain (or a baby curb but those are pricy too). And lastly I just don’t like ropes as much as most people seem to. I do love flat curbs in white gold though, and would totally get one in the future!

My first budget piece was a 3mm 14k Franco with the ghost pendant. I stepped up to a 4 mm rope chain 22k with the mini angel in 22k. Now I threw the budget out the window and bought a 5mm diamond Miami Cuban chain like I always wanted from the beginning.
