Really glad you covered the Pro Max version. The Pro (non-max) is popular but the Pro Max seems to be more interesting with the bigger battery and unique switches. Thank you for your review.

@@michealhyperion3023 Ive been using it and the only gripe i have are the click feeling, which overtime they've become more useable, but in the begining it was so stiff and still it feels like it gets stuck sometimes hwen i wanna spam. The g305 also felt more stable in my aiming but im not sure why that is.
@@Ash-of1yl thats probably because its more wide at the back than the r1. tbf ive only had mine for 2 days and the clicks are slightly heavier but its nice to hear they'll get lighter overtime. Overall im super happy with the fact i can spend £40 with delivery, and get a mouse that has the same sensor clicks and shape as a mouse that I would normally pay £100+ for. Namely the ninjusto sora which the r1 is damn near a 1 to 1 clone.
Awesome review, might check this mouse out as I find my current X2 a tiny bit too wide but I absolutely love the overall size and expecially the flat sides and narrow back. I also tested the Sora but its side profile was too narrow and curved for me so this might just be the perfect in between. Also, great shape comparisons as always!

Just got this mouse and I have to say that it's one of the best I've ever laid my hand on. I had an X2 but this feels different from the curves to even the hump. It feels more even throughout the mouse. I still can't believe that the Pro version costs only $45. Definitely would recommend this to just about everyone.
Really ? I am thinking of buying the cheapest R1SE which is $23 incl. shipping just for the wireless experience but I only want a claw mouse. I mostly used an XM1r for comparison, would you still recommend it ?
@spacegodmurder thats a really good point. I guess for me the pro was the clear choice because of the 4k compatibility. If the quality is the same on the SE go for it. Even if it isn't, $23 isn't much lost
Do you use it with the 4k receiver? And is the mouse more like M or S size? (just the feeling). I have the gpro x and it feels massive xD The shape is too bulky
I went with the SE version. I can't believe what you can get for 16 dollars! There are QC issues though so your mileage will vary. Some QC issues are that the bottom isn't flat, creaking issues and some noisier left and right clicks. In my case I got a good one. Not a single one of those QC issues. I'm very happy with my purchase. And thank you for your video because I wouldn't have known about this mouse.
i bought the pro version 2 weeks ago and literally do not have a single complaint. i was afraid that i wouldn't like it coming from 10+ years of using ergo mice, but i found it really nice to hold in hand
I actually like the sensor sitting a little lower... It helps to micro correct for 1 taps by pivoting at the wrist... imagine the sensor being upward more than halfway.. it would need me to lower my sensitivity to get the same feeling (while it would not be a major issue) but I would have to compromise the extra bit of high sensitivity for my flicks.... Also I liked the fact that the top mouse skates don't sit too much back and onwards towards the centre and the button height is lower (which for me helps in better aiming, it gives me more feel of the mouse in my fingers during micro adjustments) Rocket Jump Ninja yt talks about it
Interesting to see that you did not have spare skates at the box. Was waiting for this review. Just to see if this is a good "'poor mans Pulsar X2"'. Seems that the price with 4k dongle is too good to ignore
Nice review! So it's basically a half-priced X2 with better switches (Kailh is king & opticals suck). Sweeet! Sounds like a solid chance it'll be my main driver. I have one of these shipping atm; very excited about it!
@@xstupidg back hump wasn't big or wide enough for me. Prefer S2/Helios II. The slope from the top hump to the front is too aggressive for me. Feels too "low-profile". Convex mouse buttons don't help either. Hardware/component-wise though - its fantastic for the price. Mouse clicks are loud AF though and apparently prone to double-clicks.
probably gonna get this, seems like a reasonable alternative to a sora if you don't have the money to shell out over 100 bucks for a mouse atm. like me rn.
How is the click compared to the VGN Dragonfly F1 Moba, I just don't really feel like to have it as my main because there's a little pretravel on mine.
Love your videos man! I bought the Waizowl OGM Pro back when you posted a video about it based on your recommendation for my friend and he absolutely loved it! Which mouse would you say is better shape wise the VGN F1 or the VXE R1? I was using a Razer Viper for some time now until it finally broke, although I felt that the Viper could be just a tiny bit bigger when I used it, So I bought the G Pro X Superlight but it felt like it filled my hand too much and didn't leave enough room for claw grip or fingertip for that matter.. Which mouse would you recommend for me? my hand size is 19cm*10cm. I would really appreciate it.

Is anyone getting Connection Issues while the Mouse is connected using the 4K Dongle? I have the R1 Pro version and the tracking suddenly drops and resumes after a while. I have noticed that the 4K Dongle and the Mouse still communicate because when I move the mouse the LED Indicator on the Dongle also lights up. Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, are there any known fixes?

Hi guys, my R1 just arrived but I can't get the bluetooth to work. I tried connecting it to my Windows PC and it initially connected, but after turning it off and on again it no longer works. The blue light indicating Bluetooth is on works, but my PC (I tried on another PC and it's the same) can't find it.
I recently bought the R1 Pro Max and the 4k dongle. I was hoping to use the 4k dongle on my PC and the 2.4g dongle on my laptop. When I tried to use both dongle, only 1 is getting recognized. I had to re-pair it to my laptop after pairing it to my PC. Can someone help me have them both usable without paring it again and again?
I personally always recommend going as low as possible 0ms. If you are having any issues like double clicking or slam clicking then just adjust it up 1ms at a time until the issue goes away.

On my vgn r1 pro max the right mouse button started double clicking after 3 days:( I understand that I can configure this in the software, but it’s still sad

cheapest i can find with dongle is aliexpress for 85 euro... not cheap... I can get the dormashark m3s pro for 50 euro... but app the VGE is better and supossed to be cheaper
Used my friend's one, the build quality is garbage but that's expected from cheap 35 dollar mice, the skates are ok and the sensor has no issues. At this point instead of buying these cheap wireless mice the wired ones feel much better to use.
