I had a little bit of regret at first buying this, but it's literally become one of my favorite lenses and it was sooo cheap in comparison to everything else surrounding it.
wow amazing. you are from manchester . same here. just bought sony a7iii + 11mm & 50mm lenses . fancy meeting up one day for some shooting? all the best . Peter
Awesome video! Love the nifty 50! Can you make a video on how to change focus points quickly and when to do it for certain situations for new photographers like myself please (i own the a7iv) 😁
Have you ever had any bad reactions to taking people’s photos on the street? Id love to do some candid street photography but I’m a little intimidated of taking photos without someone’s permission 😅
Not sure where you’re located, but here in the states public photography is a first amendment protected activity and that includes taking people of random people. There is no expectation of privacy in public.
@@the_bencredible Of course, but, if someone has a bad day or character, nothing stops him from trying to hurt you or your camera. Of course, you can call the cops. But, imho it's not worth the confrontation. I just take the picture and afterward ask if they mind. Just one time someone asked me to delete the picture, because, he lied at work that he was sick hahah. As a decent human being, I complied. Most of the time they ask for my social media.
Great video Curtis, I always seem to miss you when you’re in Manchester, or I’m in another part of the City. I was on a Group Meet Up on Sunday but we were around Deansgate/Castlefield area
I had this lens as my first pick up when I got my A7RII, got rid of it as I wasn't a huge fan of it at the time. I guess it comes down to what I was shooting at the time though too
Hey Curtis, love your content and very helpful in starting my journey in photography!!! I have the a6400 and the 50/1.8 lens, my question for you is, what lens filter do you reccomend? I'm primarily shooting weightlifting inside the gym and street photography. I live in Las Vegas, NV if that helps any with suggestions. Thanks for your time and look forward to seeing more of your stuff!!! ~Jay
Smooth POV and pics, Curtis. Reflections and feet images my fav. Ever shoot Auto-ISO? How about a vid/POV using auto-ISO? BTW, cheeky of you to horn in on your friend’s model. Did you get a model release from her (or a date😊)? Cheers!
Great video,as always🔥 But can you make a video how you edit your videos, the workflow, lil tutorial and how to add those photos in post?im struggling a lil bit to be honest😅 Greetings from austria🇦🇹
Curtis, can you show what preset you used for what shot? I've bought your preset pack and would like to see which of your presets you used for what shot.
Ayyy thanks for grabbing the presets dude hope you are enjoying them so far! I'm avoiding doing that at the current time as I'm working on a new preset pack, some of which have also been used in the video! 🤙
Hi Curtis 🙋🏼♂️ can u tell me please, which camera do you use for your POV? If it is a GoPro, which settings have u set for this? Very nice Videos all the time 🤗👍🏻
@@CurtisPadley no problem pal, keep up the awesome content. Had chance to finally shoot with the 50mm, loved it, made the Austin healey I was shooting look 👌🏻
It also has to do with the edits to. If your into adding yellow tones and organges in your edits then you might just want to wait for the sun to poke on through, but if your into pastel colors or B&W overcast is perfect.
