Welcome to my review of the XHDATA D-219 radio! I think this is the radio that will open up the world of shortwave listening to a whole new generation of listeners. It is very inexpensive, but very effective!
This review is long and detailed, you can jump to the section that interests you! The first part is the general review, followed by scans of the FM, SW and MW bands. The video ends with an explanation of my giveaway. I gave away two of these radios to my subscribers, one to a subscriber in South Africa and one to a subscriber anywhere else in the world. In this review, I'll be sharing my personal experience with the radio and why I think it is such a great little budget radio. I am very impressed by its sound and performance, it does very well on both shortwave and medium wave. I think it is perfect for anyone who would like to start off with shortwave listening, and also useful to experienced DXers. Because of its low price and the use of two AA batteries, this is the kind of radio you can take anywhere, anytime.

Winners: Two winners will be chosen in a random draw. One winner will be selected from the pool of subscribers in South Africa, while the other will be chosen from the rest of the world. The winners will be contacted by email or social media messaging within 3 business days after the draw. The winners must respond within 7 days to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within this timeframe, a new winner will be chosen.
