Mitsubishi Triton MQ16 roof rack installation.
DIY OCAM AND ROLA PLATFORM INSTALATION/ Mitsubishi TRITON MQ16
DISCLAIMER: Im not a professional mechanic. But had a basic knowledge on 4x4 trucks.
I used my own funds to make this video and never been paid or sponsored to create this step by step installation video.
If doubt on DYI please I highly recommend to hire a professional mechanic to do the Roof rack platform installation.
The roof rack and platform has a 150 - 300kg weight load capacity. But its best to refer on your cars manufacturer manual regards on load capacity.

Ive remove it. Cause ive install a roof top tent on it. As long as you put a brace or any small wedges you can put on the back side bracket the rattling will be fix. The cause of its rattling is the rola's bracket tracks it self. Soon ill upload new video about this set up. Probably I will high light the bracket rattling issue as well and how to fix it. Cheers

Mate what's the capacity of your triton roof load? How much does your roof top tent weigh?

Hi mate, looking at putting the same setup on my Ute. Question for you, the adjustable mounts on the Rola, one they’re bolted to the ocam rack can they slide around? Of does the friction hold the whole setup in place?

Once you tighten the bolts and nuts it will hold...just insert a rubber mats in the middle of it to avoid vibration

Hey mate! Since watching your video I’ve copied this set up. However I found out today after the install that the roof tray make a noticeably loud vibrating sound on bumps or when you close the doors. Did you experience the same thing?

Ive notice mine when I went to a corrugated road. Its the back side bracket It rattles. Just a option you can fit a 3mm flat bar at bunnings cut it out same measurement to connect both roof rack bracket ( OCAM) then bolt it. It will fix the rattling. Mine a put a roof tops tent on it. Fits like a dream.

I bought mine to there OCAM ebay account and they send me a different one. The one you need to drill on it. So I've forward a screen shot on that video. And they resend the item for me.
