I'm sorry man, but this is the second video in which you got it wrong: the defocus button doesn't add a fake blur "digitally", it acts on the actual aperture, and brings it to the max (f2.0 in this case) while changing all the other parameters to keep the exposure ok. So it's not a gimmick, it's actually a pretty smart function, and it's nothing like the iphone fake blur.
Why would 18 people (ie: trolls) be so quick to like a sardonic correction comment and almost no one thanks him for making a helpful video? RU-vidrs do this for free and not not perfect godlike robots. They make mistakes. Relax Jack
I really think this is great for 1st time camera users, problem is that they will experience a steep learning curve and after a few months will want to upgrade. Problem is that they have paid 500$ and now will face an upgrade to a $700-$1200 camera. Not sure if you all agree but curious to hear your thoughts
I'm glad I bought a ZV1 3 weeks ago because, this Zv1-f has a fixed lens and, I did fix the problem of the lens being not wide enough by adding a wide angle lens on It (this wide angle lens Is an accessory)
Different categories.. Xperia do have advantages on doing Livestream immediately with video pro.. zv-1f better 1inch sensor and fixed lens at 20mm. Vlog i think it is better option for zv-1f as price is cheaper.. but it will lack of some AI processing stuffs in camera than smartphone
But we're still waiting for a APS-C flagship from Sony 😩. I'm in the edge of going full frame (used A7iii probably) but I would go all in if Sony would release the 'a7000' instead of another vlogging camera...
Same here. I am not satisfied with the video capabilities of 6400 because of no ibis and I know sony apsc ibis are not well either and I have a gimbal but it's a pain to use it in run and gun. Would love a good ibis equipped apsc body
@@withronit Sony Ibis sucks anyway for video. There is no big difference if there is Ibis or not. No matter if it’s full frame or aps-c, ibis doesn’t stabilze Video satisfying.
Thank you for your helpful review. I want to be able to film my art work on a table downwards from top. Would this camera be suitable for that purpose?
Hello 👋 I saw your video with Peter where you both were saying that you are using for vlogs -> pp2 gamma: s-cinetone, color mode: s-cinetone. But i have Sony a7iii Where i don’t have s-cinetone, do you have any recommendation for me so I don’t have to colour grade my vlogs and it looks good?
I watch the footage and it's gittery like crazy. I watch some reviews and I see it and watch others and it's not happening. I feel if your not using catalyst browse the footage is really rough.
@@thaticelandicguy Thanks for replying! Well in my books, if you don't know, there's no one else in the RU-vid space that knows. That probably means that we're far from hearing about an update of the a6XXX line. There have also been no rumors so far.
@@thaticelandicguy They just need to add a mechanical shutter inside the FX30. It would have been the perfect camera if it did had photo capabilities. The fact that it only has an electronic shutter makes it useless for hybrid shooters.
is it really worth having? I mean just buy an Iphone 14 plus or max... and buy a GO PRO 9 or 10... digital cameras were Awesome back in 2002 to 2012 but then everyone just said screw it.. Ill use my iphone 3 or galaxy 4 and digital cameras died off for a few years... now with vlogging, they are making a come back.. BUT... yeah.. I dont see how will survive when smart phone camera get better every year! now it seems like a burden to carry more gear... is it really better than a latest smart phone? I am still not sure if I want to buy one... 1000 dollars I have other things I could buy....
Your saying the best vlog camera is just advertising for Sony, as they said in the past, this is the best vlog camera in the zv1 camera and then in the zv 10 camera, I prefer to say this is a new camera from Sony and only, otherwise in the world there are many versions of the vlog camera
I don't agree with you, it's way less than a phone and it's made for people that want a better camera than their phones and still want to create content for social media. For me it would be vlogging
I didn't think this camera would deserve a review. It's just another point and shoot, aimed at the low end. Just to create contrast between products, trying to make other cameras look more "advanced". Because Sony isn't coming up with anything new lately, they are just reselling their existing products with few gimmicks on top and costing even more.
