My family upgraded to a travel trailer in June to a nice mid 90's Sunline from a pop-up. Buttonwood was our first trip in June, kids weekend. Was out first time at Buttonwood. I knew the campground had an upper and lower end, from Google maps. I called about 2 miles away to see how to check in. You go into the portion you are in and the staff on the golf carts take you to your site, help you back in and level the camper. I was blown away by this. We checked in after we were settled in. The beautiful scenery, excellent staff and ammentities that they proved easily made it this our #1 campground. When it was time to pack up, we had an issue with the awning closing. The owner drove by on his golf cart, drove right up and jumped off and offered to help. We cannot wait to go back. Our kids, 12, 10 and 5 always ask when our next trip is. They do not have many openings as they are very popular. We constantly checkout Facebook for openings. This campground will not disappoint.
We stayed here back in June. What a wonderful place. The river was awesome and the activities for the kids were great, but the best of all were the millions of lightening bugs. We are hoping to return next year for sure.
We have been to Buttonwood twice...in a tent. Service is excellent to say the least. We are, however, new owners of an RV!!! We would LOVE to enjoy this beautiful and fun Campground with our children again!! This was a great video!
After your recommendation, we checked out Buttonwood videos. Seems like we would love it for everything it offers. We booked a site we wanted for August 2021 for a week. Can't wait. Thanks Eli, Fawn
We went to Buttonwood last yr with our daughter, son in law and grandkids and loved it!! We now have a camper of our own and can't wait to get back! Just saw your video on FB snd now a new follower. You guys are awesome, can't wait to watch more videos.

My family loves Buttonwood. We have been there in summer, also beautiful in the fall for Halloween weekends are great here. You can trick or treat during the day before night.
We're hoping to go for a week next year, we have kayaks and have friends that do to. We look for camping on a riverfront to make access easy! Can't wait to play putt-putt with my crowd either! It looks amazing there thanks for reviewing! and your family is adorable! Lucky!
We tried to visit Buttonwood last year but the Juniata (Juniala) flooded and the riverfront sites were under water. We just can’t seem to get a riverfront reservation for 2019. Oh well, maybe next year. GREAT VIDEO!
Love the video ...Visited Buttonwood a few times on an afternoon drive but it's still on our "to do" list for a camping weekend. This is an amazing and beautiful campground!
This is our go to campground!!! We feel so at home here. I walk into the camp store and yell "Honey, I'm home"!!! Ryan, Laci and the rest of the staff are awesome. Love them all! Who could forget Hold'em, the campground dog. Oh...and they are pet friendly too and NOW have an area for the dogs to run around. Our dogs love it!! The River is our favorite place to hang out. We just plop our chairs in and sit awhile when we're not tubing. The dogs again LOVE IT TOO!! We book about 1 long weekend a month!! Its the best campground we've been too and our kids enjoy it too. Can't wait for our camping trip soon. I can just imagine floating down the river now.......

I'd love to take my family to button wood campground my wife and I have been working hard on our 1966 popup to get at least 2 or 3 camping trips in before the end of the season. It's all out 4yo talks about. Great video !!!!

We love Buttonwood!!! It’s one of our favorite campgrounds and my kids enjoy it there. There’s so many activities that keep them busy and for us adults the wine slushes are amazing 😉

Your short video got me excited enough to plan my next weekend at Buttonwood, PA; I was looking for a perfect place like this where I could carry my own tent, my own tube and spend a quiet weekend during this pandemic situation. It will not only allow me to limit exposure of my family in some unknown hotels but will also provide a much needed outing for my family who are stuck at home for last six months.

I live in Juniata County - but have never been to Buttonwood. I know many people (local and from a distance) that camp there. I'd love to try it out. (just for reference - it's in the heart of Juniata County - not Mifflin County)

So we just went their and got a riverfront site. I’m just trying to figure out why you all didn’t warn us about the freight trains 100 feet away from the river front sites? They run approximately every 30-45 minutes I find it hard that you missed them. We booked for the week, and we left with 8 hours of arrival, worst campground ever!!!!
