No 4k is still better because capcut crush you butrate at 1080p so i would rather upscale to 4k and edit and export at 4k then tiktok will downsample ot makingit sharper than normal 1080p

Instagram doesnt allow more. So when you upload at more, they compress your video themselves removing some quality. Better to do it yourself before end and make sure ieverything looks good.

What about code rate mbps for capcut? Low, recommend, high are the options. This is a new line under the fps section ur showing at the end. I don't have that HD option. Do you see the 'code rate mbps'??

I found that if the file is above 100mb then it will look very bad. Just make the quality as high as possible but keep the file under 100mb

If you have iPhone, just use 4k instead of 1080 if your video was shot on 4k. Most social media are optimised for high quality videos from iPhone.

Depends on where you export it to. Every social media site has their own compression algorithms. So really it depends. This isn’t a one size fits all in my experience

@@xoStoner420 instagram has a cap on there site for 30fps. If you upload a 60fps video on instagram it will auto downgrade your frames for you which inherently effects your quality. The point of using 30fps before uploading is to reduce the amount of downgrading that instagram will do.

I had two videos I recorded on my iPhone 14 pro at 4k and then edited on capcut with 1080 x 30 with HDR on and it uploaded perfectly. Did the same thing few days ago and after 2 days the video completely changed quality… so upsetting. The two before were perfect. How to avoid this? I’m pretty sure I had HDR on for all 3

Bro i have a doubt. I usually shoot videos in 4k60fps. Insta only support 1080p30fps but when i try to do so, i lose smoothness and there will be a stuck in the videos. But when i try to export in 4k60fps, the Instagram will compress the video quality. Whats the solution bro?

Thanks man, I was already on 1080p and frame 30 , i had to adjust the sharpeness to 30 but still when I export there is still a shift between the images and the music that isnt on CapCut 😮‍💨

It was before, now it’s not and in fact, lot of creators recommend you to upload 4k files since Instagram will then convert them to 1080p anyways, and you don’t want to get them over-compressed by taking a 1080p file and then compress it to 1080p again (it would destroy several information specially on the darkest areas)
