160k miles for 20k bucks is not a good deal. If I’m gonna buy a car to have fun with it’s gotta have 50k miles. Beating on an old ass car is asking for trouble
Facts. However Lexus reliability is insane. 2006 Lexus is350 I beat the piss out of that car every time I’d drive it, to the point where I genuinely felt bad and apologized to it like it was my girlfriend 😂 got it at 110k now it’s at 177k and not one single major fucking issue. I wish I could show how hard I pushed that poor baby and she cranks up and goes like nothing.
Just save a few extra thousand and get a car with 30-40k miles for 30-40k dollars. Mustangs, camaros, scat packs. You can get 5th gen camaros in the 25k range
Got an 2016 rs camaro thats a v6 and comes stock with 323 horse power it’s got apple car play and other modern features. It was 24,000 with 8k miles. And it handles very impressively and gets lots of looks. Highly recommended.
bro said the isf, dude just get an is 350 or gs 350 for reliability and power! Plus RWD for less than 10k. Got about the same power as the Z for a sedan!
I looked really hard and found a 2016 rs v6 camaro with sweet racing stripes and upgraded rims. It had 8k miles and was 24k plus fees made it 27k. I’d look really hard and for reference i bought this 3 days ago so the markets not changed. The 16 has the same look of the 17-18 so look into that. Hope that was helpful
You can definitely get a 1st gen coyote for under 20k and the ss Camaros before 2015. Literally was just looking at 2013 2SS for 20k even with 44k miles
@@GamingWitRad the 5th gen Camaros are cheaper than the gen 1 coyotes. You can get a reasonable SS for 20k. The earliest 5.0s 2011-2012 go for a little more than that
I never considered myself a car guy because they were always depreciating assets. But finding a good fun one was a good thing. No one should be spending 20k on these 10+ year old cars. After 10 years for a sporty anything it should be 7k MAX. These "car guys" will have you in debt to the hilt and still talk shit about you behind your back. Don't let them bully you into thinking this is normal.
I bought a 2004 civic for 10000. That’s too much, but to us car guys, we don’t generally care about them depreciating. I love my car, and I bought it to drive it into the ground
I always say the same thing however the lexus isf does not fit this mold. If you can find one low 20's the resale value is high 30's low 40's talk about appreciation. they only made these lexus' up until 2013. They aren't even made anymore. The values are through the roof
Mustang is a perfect choice 420 hp dual cam 32 valve v8 independent front and rear suspension to keep the car stable make it harder to hit a crowd And the engine can rev To the moon Like 8-9k
I’d honestly say to get a V6 Camaro. And here are the reasons: Good chassis Good suspension setup Affordable they typically go for 16-25k with low miles Good power from the factory Takes E87 Nice interior and exterior Very well balanced Reliable V6 with a decent aftermarket Comes stick Decently spacious for a coupe Easy to maintain and modify Parts are abundant and cheap And it gets pretty good gas mileage. Only drawback is that it’s not the SS. And the choices in the video are terrible choices. But it’s my opinion. The V6 Camaro is in fact a great choice for someone trying to get into cars.
