I’ve had the Nomad case since it came out and I can honestly say it’s amazing. Feels premium and classic and i love the way the leather patinas over time. The top lid does not fall off at all and the LED for the light is precise.

I use a catalyst waterproof case for my AirPods Pro, it doesn’t feel like it’s secured properly but I think it is, it’s a bit hard to get in but it gets easier after a while. The carabiner is good for my pockets cause then it doesn’t fall out or get stolen.

I love the look and feel of the Nomad but I found the top case was prone to slipping off. Best and current for me is the Incase AirPods Pro case with Woolenex. It has a small adhesive stick on the top case to hold it in class.

Your review wasn't too informative - how does the AirPods fit? Is there tape on the inside of the case, are the case snug etc?????. You didn't go into any details.

I would love to see a round up/review of a stylish wireless charging setup. For example native union has wireless chargers and nice cases, but when you have a phone, a watch and AirPods, is it a functional setup and do things charge FAST? Courant has gorgeous charging bases but they only charge one device at a time 😞 what is a stylish AND practical setup?

I ordered a Catalyst case premium edition for my AirPods Pro. Still waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I used a catalyst case on my first generation AirPods. Probably the best cases out there.

Yes much better. The carabiner hole placement is in a better direction. The wireless charging still works great with the catalyst case on. Also you can clearly see the charging indicator light with the case on too. The carabiner itself is much better quality than the one that came with the first generation

Hello Andrew, I have a suggestion for a future review. There are GPS addons like GPS sleeves and other products that you insert in the lightning port in case you get lost where there is no cell phone coverage. Just wondering if these are working well?

Do the silicon cases from Native Union and slim case from Catalyst attract dust? I’ve seen some reviews of other cases that say silicon cases will trap dust and I really don’t want that to happen especially for an expensive price(to me).

They are probably the most "over-engineered" of all of them. I expected them to be at least $39.99. They have the microfiber, the lanyard anchor, the specially designed "light pipe" and yet don't cost more than other leather ones.

The airpods pro a great upgrade but Apple being apple, chose to again go with a glossy finish. Had to invest another 7$ on a gadgetshieldz skin. May be apple should make a matte finish airpods pro.

It's never easy to take off the case once you put it on. The case itself is unlike the silicone one and it wraps the AirPods very hardly. I had a leather case for my AirPods and regretted buying it. It took me quite some time to take it off using a hairdryer (lol that's what the nomad's customer service told me). Also, the AirPods case was damaged with lots of scratches. People who are going to buy any of these should be alarmed by this.

I totally agree! I instantly regretted putting the Alto leather case on… not only does it obstruct the pair button on the back, but I cannot get the cover off no matter what I do! Ugh! 😩

Roshan Bagga usually there is an adhesive sticky piece under the lid that keeps it in place. It doesn’t leave anything when you take the case off

I also highly recommend getting a case because the plastic AirPods case scuffs very very very easily. I like the twelve south airsnap.

ufhero Yeah I know , like I said I am a little OCD but I did find it strange how it’s scratched so easily not even being dropped and just being inside my pocket with nothing else in there but otherwise it isn’t a big deal. The case is a little bigger so it doesn’t fit in the small pockets of my jeans or pants anymore so I like the clip to put on my backpack or on my belt loop.

When you see something say "genuine leather" and it's less than $50, it's actually just genuWINE leather. It's just how they can market fake leather as "genuine" when it really isn't. Just thought some people would want to know that.
