I purchased the Amzchef juicer and had also looked at the Omega. The Amzchef is less expensive but does a fantastic job at juicing both fruits and vegetables. The Amzchef is very easy to assemble and break down after juicing and clean up takes all of 5-6 minutes. The Amzchef does a great job and doesn't feel "cheap" so I suspect it will last for a few years. If you wish to spend 3 times the money for a juicer by all means go with the omega. You will be happy with the Amzchef ! UPDATE ... Amchef is garbage and customer service is even worse !! I have since purchased a Nama J2 and I'm finally pleased !
I think to make it more scientific, you should have weighted the celery, they aren't all the same thickness or width, the size might be the same but the amount weren't sure 🤷♂️
run the celery pulp from the AMZ juicer thru the AMZ juicer two or three times and see if the amount of extra celery juice you get when added to the first juicing will equal what you got from the MM900. I do that all the time in my horizontal juicer and it pays to do this.
I looked into the Omega, however many reviewers are saying the company lacks customer service and that they cannot replace any broken parts. I have had The Champion juicer for 20 years and only replaced the blade once. I have to chop up the celery into 3 or 4 inch pieces. I would like to find a good celery juicer but am not sold on Omega based on reviews. I will stick with my Champion for now as it has proven to last.
I think I'm gonna get the cheaper one because I don't juice a lot. But that other 1 would be an amazing investment because you get more juice. This was an awesome video very informative! Thank you so much :)
The AmzChef juicer is no longer available. This is what the MedicalMedium said.....that the Omega Juicer actually saved money in the long run with celery. Thanks for the video; I actually wondered the same thing about the juicers. (Another celery juicer video used a Cuisinart Juicer. Her 16oz glass of celery juice every day was costing her about $90 per month (organic celery?)).
THE MM900 has a plastic inside, not metal like most. Anthony Williams says you always want plastic because the metal juicers can shed micro pieces of metal that can go into your system.
regrind the pulp in AMZchef and extract the balance juice from the pulp. it's take 1 or 2 minutes extra and you don't' want to pay 3 times higher price.
Interestingly on Amazon Spain right now the difference in price is significant - 129 euros for the AMZchef vs 816 euros for the Omega MM900HDS. Based on that and your video, I think I'm gonna go with the AMZchef one, as that's a crazy price differential. Thanks for uploading the video, showed me what I wanted to see.
You did a very good test and followed good technique to do the best comparison possible. What would’ve made this even better is if you had used to measuring cups for the juice to get an actual volume of each.
Good choice between two juicers. Some suggested that it cootie have been more scientific, but it was good enough for me. Now if the Omega was twice the price...
Excellent review! I'm wondering if there's a lot of leftover pulp inside the Omega juicer? It's hard to believe that that's all that's leftover! I just purchased the Omega, so I guess that I'll soon find out! ;-)
Awesome video! What do you think about carrots in this omega? The carrots I purchase are definitely big like the one in your dash video but if I get tinyyy pulps like this celery one that would be awesome!
@@nebojsa1976 The OP isn't talking about RU-vid commissions. They're talking about an affiliate link, meaning if you purchase a juicer through the link from her RU-vid video she makes a profit from it. I don't care either way but just thought I'd point that out.
@@richardsmith4187 for me in australia i have seen celery go from $2 a head to $8 and thats not even organic so it would be worth it for me cause im on a budget
thanks for doing this I just bought my first cold pressed juicer and i should have done my research first. the pulp is too wet and i hate waste it makes me feel bad to be throwing all that food away and wasting money. also i did apple and carrot this morning and the apple baisicly became a puree it was so thick i couldnt strain it im disapointed because i didnt wasnt apple mash i wanted apple juice. is that a thing with these two juices can you get a good apple juice?
