Hmm, really think you should have compared Magenta instead of Magenta Max since you went with AT&Ts Starter plan as well as Verizon's Play More. Or Max versus Get More and Unlimited Premium. Max isn't that great of a deal unless you are using it for the Hardware offers.
@@redwolfexr I got to have unlimited premium data because I use so much data and I can't afford to be De prioritized on the network to do accurate speed testing on the network
I’ve recently switched from Verizon after having them for 15 years to T-Mobile, and have been blown away by how much better my service has been. Especially at my house, which is in a very rural area. I rarely had more than one or two bars of LTE with Verizon, and now I generally have, two bars of 5G with T-Mobile. I can even use my hotspot to play games online on my PS five. Very impressed with T-Mobile‘s service improvements over the years.
@@StetsonDoggett so I don’t think it’s technically available at my address, but do you think if I have great service with them I should try setting it up and seeing how well it works?
@@Hiiiiiiiiieeee Yeah so you get a 15 day free trial to try out the internet & I’m not sure where you’re from but, I work for T-Mobile & we waive the activation fee for the Home Internet. No contract $50/m, $20 discount if you’re on MAX. You can still try the internet out regardless of it not being “available” in your area. If you need help or questions I can probably help you out.
I think it depends on the area in which you live as to which carrier offers the best signal. The area where I live and work, Verizon works best for me. However, people who live the opposite direction from work, T-Mobile works better for them. AT&T is a distant 3rd, with Verizon & T-Mobile essentially sharing 1st and it being a matter of preference. I will say, if I didn't have Verizon, I would have T-Mobile.
I’m tired of paying $175+ for two lines.. I’m also a trucker and T-Mobile doesn’t do it in a lot of places.. My boy told me five visible a shot because he thinks it’s very good
Visible had been running a promotional plan for some time now in 2023 with basic for $25 and Visible Plus for $35. I was paying the original $30 basic so I upgraded to Plus for just $5 more and now enjoy more international and priority calling.
I've been a visible customer since 2018 and I couldn't be any happier. Truly unlimited and I've been paying 25 a month all those years. Got my mom, girlfriend and a few friends into it and we all been loving it since
Man i just switch to visible from tmobile and i can totally notice the difference in data speed. Visible is so slow! I live in a small city with no huge buildings. Ill probably stick with visible for awhile and see.
Thank you so much for this info. I spoke with another visible user who has been in the cell phone business for years. But he just switched to AT T because his job gives it to him free. But he was fine with visible. He did say his $45 a month got pretty slow at times. But when he dropped to the $30 mo (new card) it was much faster...thanks for sharing everyone
A couple of things you did not mention: Tmobile includes taxes and fees, so add ~$10 to other plans depending where you live. Also.. "deprioritized data" with MVNO. In most cases you will have very similar service. But If you are in a very busy area (stadium/busy subway stations) you may notice you are not able to access data at all, while other can.
Dropped Verizon and went with Tmobile Magenta MAX!! for no nonsense bill, free international travel data, signal is on par now with the Big 2, Netflix and AppleTV free for life with service. Time to switch folks!
I am Verizon and understand what you are talking about also. But I’m not doing subways anymore. But it may slow down in some spots. But you know what? $77 a month versus $30 a month? And I’m on the same system as Verizon? And they keep trying to penalize me six dollars a month. We’re just having a single line? I can live with it. I don’t live with my phone stuck in my face. I have an iPad that I use a lot. So to me this is a minor inconvenience. It’s better than a Dixie cup and string ha ha.
Absolutely correct, if you are not ok with deprioratized data, slower speeds than the mvno operators are not good. I have mint and it's awfully slow in many areas, while my friends with post paid t mobile, zip through.
@@tonyn3227 I switched to Visible about three weeks ago. And I went from $77 a month in Verizon to $30 a month. And it is absolutely such that I forget that it’s not Verizon . But it is. Fantastic. I have a recommend it to people that just do the basics. I use 8 GB roughly on my phone. No big deal. I don’t need to carry it over. I don’t need the BS at Verizon. My speeds are not slow down. No one from China has taken my information. It’s all good if they have, go for it. What the hell. Y’all have a wonderful weekend. And sadly, I don’t get the opportunity to take videos like George Floyd’s murder. But I keep trying. If you know what I mean. I’m out there doing my best. Hang in there.
I love how you planned this year’s videos out by making family plan and how to check usage videos first so you can link to them. I also like how each year when you make these ideas you slightly improve from the previous year’s video format, and not only update plans and prices.
After having MetroPCS, T-Mobile, Virgin Mobile, Verizon, Mint, and AT&T, I like Visible the best. $25 for unlimited everything. I don't travel and if I did I would fanagle a plan. I know it's throttled and deprioritized, but it seems like the cheapest solution for me as I use a lot of data, probably between 35-60 gigs a month.
I have Verizon and I'm the only one that gets service in Kings canyon national park and Yosemite. It's hard to switch when all my friends never have service
I just switched from VERIZON $135 to VISIBLE for $50 dollars and I like it. The speeds are outstanding inside Las Vegas strip since I get a good 37mbps when big crowds are present, enough for 1080p. Around the strip and outskirts of the city i get consistent 70-140mbps. I'm also trying BOOST INFINITE for $25 and my S23 Ultra got 100-400mbps in all same places. But it does change from 5G to 4G LTE often, not consistent. I stayed with visible because consistency, I go to outdoor ranges off road in some parts of the dessert which Visible often worked well for text and call with 2.67-8.6 mbps while Boost LTE kicks in at 1.64-4.7mbps and the service drops often. Visible, Very consistent service but slower speeds below 140mbps. Boost Infinite, Very fast speeds, not consistent service.
Thanks for doing this review. And gotta love those $15.00 plans. For my usage they are all I need. I constantly talk to people who are paying $60.00 and $80.00 per month and complaining about the price. People need to hear this.
ATT Prepaid has 16GB with rollover data for the same price. Boost has a 15GB plan for $20 ($5 less per month) I'm on the Mint 15GB plan but my contract is up next month. Still trying to decide which I want, but Boost is looking good. I think Mint needs to update their plan pricing to stay competitive.
I worked in a T-Mobile corporate call center from March ‘18-March ‘22….. Let’s just say.. there were such major breaches that people were being given free credit protection for a minimum of five years. Remember how T-Mobile had that “Netflix on us” with two lines or more? Part of it was due to due to people using their same T-Mobile log in credentials to sign up for their new Netflix accounts, as you had to do it via the T-MOBILE app or website. Other aspects, I can’t exactly talk about because of the NDA’s I was required to sign. These are some of the main reasons I quit that piece of shit company.
Love these videos. Got my family away from overpaying on Google Fi and over to US Mobile which on the Verizon network get better coverage in my area. Keep up the great work Stetson!
I went from Straight Talks $55 Unlimited plan using the Verizon network to Visible’s $45 a month plan. Visible gave me $15 off my bill a every month for the first year and the high speed data cap is higher than straight talks and is faster in comparison as it’s not deprioritize like straight talk is. In short I’m paying $30 a month for far better data speeds. I’m very happy. Also, straight talks Verizon coverage did not include 5G ultra wide. Visible does and I get 5Guw everywhere. It’s been wonderful.
I've been on US mobile for over a year now because of your vids.. been a legit service and I'm very happy with it...3 lines... Saved a bunch of 💵💵💵.. thanks for that heads up bro.
I switched to Mint Mobile's unlimited plan 3 months ago. I had TMobile before but decided to try out Mint after your videos! The first month, it was great! But around the second month I noticed I would get weird "dead zones" (like inside a grocery store) when I didn't with TMobile before. Sure, maybe I didn't notice since I don't go shopping at that particular grocery store very often but regardless of that, I noticed it would also happen in areas of construction. Normal construction lol not working on power/phone lines and that DEFINITELY didn't happen on TMobile 🤷🏾♀️ data speed is good for the most part, haven't really had issues with that but I don't like those random dead zones! After my 6 months with Mint, I'm going to try Visible 🙂
As a heads up for anyone who may be watching this video as of April 2023, Mint is raising their data caps. the 4gb plan becomes 5, the 10gb plan and up get an additional 5gb (including the "unlimited" plan)
@@jaysdangerroom I doubt there is a catch, right now. Since Mint is now owned by T-Mobile, I am expecting rates to go up in the future. For now though, once my plan expires in a month or two, my wife and I will renew for a year on a tier down due to this change to save money. (provided the prices don't change by then)
I don't know why but I love these videos lol. I am currently on the dual sim with the $15 Unlimited Boost Mobile 30 GB promo plan and the $25 25GB US Mobile plan. So far US Mobile has been rocking strong with up to 450 mbps DOWN even compared to my wife's Verizon Play More Plan.
The thing with going with small carriers that people need to be aware of is dropped coverage, and it happens a lot. As an example, if you have service with Metro you're using T-Mobile's network. If that network is getting congested and bandwidth needs to be freed up to keep the data flowing, who is getting their connection dropped? If you guested you on Metro as opposed to the T-Mobile customer, you would be correct. All the major carriers do it the same way, which is fair since their primary customers using their networks are paying more in general.
I'm on my 3rd year of Mint and couldn't be happier. Easy as pie to set up, cheap as all hell, I have solid connection in most reasonable places, sometimes even places Verizon doesn't
I’m currently on T-Mobile and I know that I use between 45 and 50 gigs a month but considering I have two major bills, one of which I won’t have anymore after I paid off in the other, I’m just trying to pay off so I’m back above par, I’ve already paid off the last three of my six month period for my car insurance so I have three months of a little money back to me, and much like my Xbox live membership, I would consider much like that, only paying every month for this, but I was thinking about jumping on Mobile and trying out their service for three months so I only had a bill every every month to pay my live membership, but considering I tend to use between 40 and 50 gigs, they’re unlimited plan is only 40 gigs so I completely understand if my service is a tad bit slower after the 40 GB mark, but considering I’m choosing the 40 gig, three month plan, I read your comment on using them and you feel like there’s no issues and no major difference? So do you think I would probably have just as much if not in nearly as positive response to it as you if I was to try them? I’m thinking about trying them out as of tomorrow, hoping that it gives me a bill the first of each month, because that’s also when my Xbox live payment is due, it would be between January and June, it would be the second month in however, long the bill goes that I would owe nearly $30 for my every third month bill of Xbox live so if I ended up owing that next month and April starting tomorrow, I’d be able to do the same with Mobile and have both of those bills strategically placed along the same route at the same time so I knew where my bills laid. I do apologize if that was a lot, I have ADD so I can tend to talk quite a bit, but I don’t talk 1,000,000 mph, I just like to clear my head of thoughts and I try to think ahead hoping that if I give enough information from my end that helps the other person understand where I’m coming from, I might get as a response as possible. 🙂
I think the magenta Max one is the worst plan on this list if you ask me..Especially considering T-Mobile doesn’t have very good service for a lot of areas and has the worst network out of the big 3. $85 for what you can get for 35 or 50 with another carrier. And 4K video streaming? You can just change your settings on any app to play videos in 4K on any plan. For instance Straight Talk says you can only play videos in 480P but I can actually play them in 4K by just changing some settings.
Bro there’s not a lot of genuine people in this world, I just started watching you’re videos and honestly you’re the friend everyone wishes they had you’re parents must be straight up respectable high honorable Gs. I respect the hustle and I respect more the fact that you don’t have to fuck people over to do that hustle. I hope everything goes perfect for you and I wish you all the success in the world.
Just wanted to let you know, you provided me with everything I needed to find the right provider for my current situation. Really great, informative video. I made sure to copy your link since some of these offers bounced me around. I hope it helps you out. Thanks!
I have the Mint mobile unlimited plan. And it's $40/month. It's as good as anything I've ever had. It's $30 a month for the first month, and then after that it's $40 a month.
You could pay the year up front and get it for $30/mo. Or you could go to Boost and get unlimited for $25/mo (with prepay for the year), and it includes 12GB of hotspot.
Mint was sounding pretty good untill the 128kbps bit. that is crippling slow. I'm ok with being throtled on high use times but getting stuck at 128kps is rough
I didn't need much data (power outage protection usually) so i found the Tello plans very effective for me. They use T-Mobile and you bring an unlocked phone. Pay monthly and you can choose how much data etc you want.
ATT just seems like the best carrier right now. Especially if you live in an area with ATT fiber for the discounts. Verizon seems to have the best mvno's. T-mobile gives you a lot for 85 but meh. I have had issues when I had them 2 years ago. Dead spots in the middle of cities. I was shocked and surprised. But I really needed service outside of this emergency vet. Couldn't get it and their was still covid rules so I couldn't enter. T-mobile will always be my last choice just for the stress it caused and its failed promise of service inside of full 5g city.
Well I mean 2 years ago is a long time since they’re coverage got better and it has. But it all comes to your location on where you live for better coverage & how much data you’re going to use each month
That’s funny because for me ATT is 3rd behind T-Mobile and Verizon. T-Mobiles Magenta Max is by far the best plan out of all the big carriers. The tax included pricing and the lack of deprioritization and 4K video streaming are huge wins. Not to mention T-Mobiles 5G is actually available everywhere. USA is a huge country so YMMV depending on where you live. I know in the DMV T-Mobile is very very good and crushes everyone else.
@@wingsuitzero a year ago I was using T-Mobile but I switch to At&t because I always have issues poor internet connection in my home everytime so when I switch to At&t my connection when from poor to excellent I really used to like the Magenta Max plan but now I got the Elite plan on At&t and I don't regret I can finish to watch a full movie in my phone.😁
First net is left off! Its one of Atts best! It’s 44.99 unlimited everything Att towers and Military Ban 14 access as well so it has tremendous coverage.
What about Google fi and Republic? They both have the advantage of offering calls over wifi and are very competitively priced when looking for the cheapest services.
But sucks in terms of network management and data prioritization. Might as well sign up for the prepaid plan from Boost Mobile for $25, it's the same plan with the same priority, on the same network.
I had Verizon then loved us mobile. Unlimited for a fraction of a price for $45 is very unbeatable. Also, 100GB of data and unlimited talk and text 🤩. Very perfect.
Good evening Stetson! It's so good to see another video from you. As always it's accurate, informative, I'm a huge help to save money! Thanks for all you do for the Telecom community and for the cellphone community-at-large!
I'm a loyal T-Mobile fan since it was voice stream. Only time I left T-Mobile was when Metro PCs got bought out by them. lol So technically still with T-Mobile 😂😂😂 When John ledger was CEO he turned T-Mobile upside down, it was the best time to be with them.
Stetson. Help needed. After watching your video which included a discussion of the T Mobile Apple promo, I went to the Apple site. It is listed there. I just can’t understand it. On the first page, it says my XS MAX qualifies for the $ 800 credit. Then after I put everything in, before ordering, It talks about $ 400 down. Why $ 400 down on essentially a free phone? I recently activated T Mobile wireless home internet, but haven’t yet switched my cellular from ATT to T Mobile. A short video explaining this may be worthwhile.
I'm surprised that Tracfone and Straight Talk aren't on the list... are they not technically an MVNO since they are "prepaid" plans? I'm paying about $16/mo with a Tracfone plan (on the Verizon network). I'm always connected to WiFi, so the 2GB per month is more than enough.
I think the only difference is that Tracfone has no unlimited data. You have to continually pay for extra data. So, Tracfone is the worst if you prioritize data.
I had straight talk for less than 2 days. I bought a SIM kit and inside the box they give you the terms that say unlimited is only for checking email and mobile webpage. The first and only call I received was them calling me the morning less than 12 hours later and telling me if I didn't stop using so much unlimited data that would cut me off.
I have used Mint and Visible. Never really had any issues and havent really noticed any difference between speed or usage. Just had some issues with Visible that needed to be resolved via text support with Visible which can be super trying. Still cant make international calls after multiple text support sessions with Isible customer support. Previously had Mint Mobile and paid for a year of 15GB service catch was that when I realized it wasnt enough data and wanted to upgrade my plan they said I had to just purchase a whole entire new annual plan, I was not able just to upgrade my current plan which was super annoying. So I was running out of data every month and getting throttled and then having to buy more data.
T Mobile is full of crap. Too much fluff in their contracts, the tax and over-charging. I’m here to get out of my plan with them . I have two phones and pay 147 monthly. The throttling and deprioritizing is ridiculous.
I know. I had just bought 2 new phones from T mobile, but they completely shut down all day 3 times in 2 months. Explained as working on the towers. Went over to Verizon but only 1 phone worked there. Sad. but necessary. I switched to Verizon because I'd had them before an knew they'd work. But still paying too much. So Researching!
Here in the UK a company called EE advertises unlimited speed and data but its actually limited. They turn it down so slow it doesn't function. They have rewritten the meaning of unlimited
I had us mobile for months without using the 100 gb monthly allowance but last month i had to use it because i had no wifi at home so us mobile decided to cut my service off on 2 lines that used more than the 100gb
Damn, I only use less than 1 GB/mo. I work from home and use WiFi calling so mostly my phone is like my mini personal computer and for calls (some of which I also do over desktop computer via WiFi too).
It is good to know that the AT&T unlimited prepaid offers 22GB of priority data I have family members that are paying $140 for 2 lines perhaps they need to have it setup with auto pay to get the $50 price per line.
Different strokes for different folks, but I could never justify going with the 'big three'. The occasional slowdowns are worth the significant savings that come with MVNOs.
I've had metropcs for so long and paying $60/month for 2 lines on their grandfather plan of 6gb. I live in Farmingville (long Island), NY and i need a service with better reception. My main floor "basement" gets 1 of 5 bars reception all the time. I also get 1 of 5 bar reception when i go grocery shopping. I have to rely on wifi or use WhatsApp to make my calls..
You left out T-Mobile Magenta Max 55+ plan drops these prices drastically..As low as $45.00 with Auto Bill Pay..Add in the Home internet 5G for $25.00 a month. Which I get around 800mb DL and 120mb UL speeds. As I live in an area that is 5G Ultra coverage. As I hate cable. It goes down all the time. All prices included taxes and fees..
Some time after my usual bus line started using a new model bus with onboard wifi, I got an email from Mint saying I'm overpaying them, asking if I'd like to downgrade my plan next payment cycle.
It’s because you have compressed files and images turned on in your message settings. You can turn it off, just note that it’ll take longer to send the files.
good news !!! Visible is at $25 per month if you used to have party pay. They did have to send new SIM cards for the new network access. It works just fine.
I still haven't switched from the Visible $25 legacy 'party pay' plan, but recently got an email from them saying I 'must upgrade before April 18th.' Problem I have is that I live near the federal poverty level and Visible is forcing us to purchase a new phone from them! They say the 'Moto G7 Power' (Android 10, no more upgrades) I bought from THEM in March, 2020 is 'NOT compatible (no longer?) based on my IMEI number ... and they do NOT provide a listing of what phones ARE compatible! Smells like a scam to sell more phones to me (even though I could probably use one ... I just don't have a couple hundred dollars to spend! Also, if I am truly forced to choosing one of their phones ... does it have to have 5G properties? It looks like quite of few if their offerings do NOT have it, so I assume their new upgraded 5G network, can still be used by a phone that only has 4G-LTE bands??? Do you have any recommendations? What did you end up doing? TIA!
Had mint for years and now tmobile max. I switched due to lack of data and me traveling. What pisses me off is I have had such a problem with my data taking forever to load anything this past month. Thought I was bot suppose to be throttled
I use Walmart family mobile, $75 for two lines unlimited talk text data, my wife does doordash and we're on pokemon go constantly and never run out the data is pretty good
I live in Maine and I go through T-Mobile they're the best I think they're business model needs a little work but overall I'm happy no issues but I use over a hundred gigabyte a month I'm on go 5G plus plan 85 90 a month worth it to me
The only reason why me and my mom stuck with AT&T because calls for free all day Saturday and Sunday to anyone and anywhere ants like if I'm deep in the country or in the middle of the ocean there's no drop calls but I'm reconsidering because AT&T is getting a little ridiculous expensive
I just tried to go through Boost Infinite and it required a soft credit check and it claims it doesn't impact your credit but I've had those show up every time and it makes your score drop a point
Dish has less than 10 million subscribers, Verizon, At&t and T-Mobile all have over 100 million subscribers with Verizon at almost 150 million subscribers. I'd hardly say DISH is a "major carrier"
Thanks for the awesome videos, Stetson. I've learned a lot from them and I'm saving hundreds of dollars thanks to you and Mint Mobile 4GB plan. One question though, I travel internationally quite often and I don't seem to ever find good eSims for roaming. Do you have any suggestions on where to shop for international roaming? I tried adding funds to my Mint Mobile Int'l roaming, but it doesn't last at all.
Your #1 best option is typically to sign up with a carrier local to the country you are visiting. Your #2 best option is typically to get a data-only eSIM plan. Some of my favorites are US Mobile, Airalo, and Simtex. You can compare international eSIM plans here: esimdb.com/
Thank you so much! I love the map you linked too. It has been very helpful in narrowing down which network it the best in my area, which then helps to narrow down which plan from there.
My fam on magenta max .. 3 for $135 and we got 3 free iPhones and then cancelled our home internet since we got unlimited data. Every 2 years we can trade our phones for new $800 phone
Stetson, I think you missed one of the best deals on any network. AT&T Prepaid for $300 all included, 16GB per month plus a bunch of other features. If someone doesn't need more than 16GB, and AT&T works in their area, it's the best deal IMO, at least for 2 lines.
For the same price, I felt Boost Infinite was a bit better or a deal. It’s monthly, so you can cancel at any time, and it comes with 30GB of data instead of 16GB. Just my opinion though, the AT&T Prepaid plan is still a great deal!
@@StetsonDoggett I disagree. The features aren't close to being comparable. Maximum data isn't the end all be all. Feature for feature, especially for those who travel throughout NA, the Boost plan is pretty weak IMO.
Hey stetson always such detailed videos many thanks. any experience with data only sims? Using a device as a LTE tracker. I Only need around 100mb, I found US mobile for $5 a month on their site for 500mb, I'm on att elite but dont think i can add anything unless I'm signing up for one of their tablets.
Just so everyone knows, I signed up for boost, wasn't given an option to go ATT and got a Tmobile card. I wanted on ATT. Called, they couldn't switch me and the stores couldn't do anything. Be warned.
Recently, I took advantage of Mint's "get 6 months of free service when buying 6 months of paid plus a cell phone" deal. Got a Pixel 7 for $199. However, it has been a nightmare getting my former landline from the 1990s with Verizon and then moved about 10 years ago to a VoIP company. Constantly bombs out. The company with the line said that the Mint reps keep putting in bad information which kills the port attempt. On the current try, I am now at 12 days without a port failure message. However, when I asked Mint where things were, I was first told the port had failed (I got no e-mail from them like before). Then, after I asked why I did not get e-mail, the rep looked further into the system and now says it shows a port due date of May 30! Huh? Anyway, have any of you experienced this?
FYI, just wanted to note that on your side for comparing plans, as an update for the att prepaid 16GB/$300 a year plan and in general, it is 5G, I believe they made most if not all the prepaid ones 5g.
T-mobile employee here!! I would have to say almost 90% of my customers have said they are switching from Verizon or AT&T to us. We are price locked guaranteed and the prices don't change every month like some other carriers do. T-mobile also bought out sprint and their towers that's why T-mobile has way better service and coverage then it used to have years ago.
Hi well T- Mobile is okay I've been with them for 5 yrs and since Sprint joined them I've been HACKED TWICE, THEY GOT LOTS OF CUSTOMERS EMAIL, ADDRESS, CREDIT INFO, PERSONAL INFO. IVE GOTTEN PAID 150$ LAST YR FROM T-Mobile from Lawyers....There's another one pending So watch out people do your homework before switching
What no Tello? 300mins. 5gb for $17 or go minimums at 1gb 100mins. for $7. Can slide plan up and down all the way to unlimited for everything for $29 to fit your needs and pocketbook. A good alternative like Mint.
Us mobile is better than visible the coverage is the same but the speeds are better on us just FYI to anyone moved from boost infinite to visible have a trial on us mobile , next I'll try mint mobile real world experience here I drive alot and so far att or boost infinite was the best however throttled tp 1 5mbps to kbps and wasn't able to use at times so far us mobile has been great and visible also but visible throttles more than us mobile
Good information but you didn't mention US Cellular They are a carrier in this United States and they have a good footprint and Verizon runs on to their system and vice versa
He only talks about the big 3 carriers because they are the network providers. US Cellular doesn’t have a nationwide network and like you said they use Verizon’s network on top of their own.
I live in the Houston, Texas area. I had cricket and nothing was wrong with my service I just didn’t want to pay the $65 in person or $60 online so I switched to Boost Mobile and honestly for me it sucked cause they didn’t have unlimited data and the service started to slow down BADLY so I am looking for another server. Do any of you guys have opinions on your phone service?! If so I would love to hear them.
I have a question. I have T-Mobile now and ain’t planning to get rid of it due to me having the 14 Pro on a financing plan with a $800 Trade-In Credit over 24 Months. I’m in Louisville, KY and want to have a plan where I can test out Verizon UWB. What phone and plan would you get? Doesn’t have to be Verizon Postpaid. Can be the Visible Plus or US Mobile. By the way I’m talking about like a prepaid service not postpaid and getting a second unlocked IPhone to Compare by the way. Not looking to have that second phone service plan each and every month.
I have the Visible $45 plan but cannot make international calls. Text only support. Can be frustrating especially when they cannot solve my international calling issue.
Hey Stetson! Love your content just wanted to ask is there any inherent differences between AT&T unlimited plus and unlimited max? I’ve had the $50 plus plan for ages.
For me, I use both an ios(main) n android phone. Atm i do most things on my ios with my android acting as a wifi for my ios. So the best option for me seems to b US Mobile's unlimited premium plan...
In sales we where tough to tell customers 300 dollars and then when they’re head flu backwards they felt better when we said Well Just For Today And Just For You 😊Only 250 dollars. When It Only Cost Me 5 Dollars. Some people remember that TV was free .
Another thing you may not have mentioned is some phones do not work on all carrier networks. For example, I have a Xiaomi Redmi note 11 5g, which only works on the T mobile network, not AT&T or verizon. I am not sure if it has to do with the way the networks are run, or the phone it self, since this phone is not sold in north america.
Phones have atenas that connect to networks. Phones that are from China or Europe commonly use Gsm so like tmovile. CDma are networks like verizon. You usaly need to get a cdna version or stick to Tmovile
@@anthonyraymundobarron1255 Nope, not for the most part. CDMA is turned off in the US. Verizon and the ones here focus on LTE and 5G. The bigger issue concerns the "bands" used. So if a phone from a foreign country does not match the bands used where you live here, the phone won't work. Or if a band matches, but the band is saturated or just weak, you will have problems. Other than that, if the the phone is unlocked, you are otherwise good.
