I have been using Moto phones however I won't anymore even though they are good phones I cannot stand that obnoxious 4 digit time on the lock screen you can't remove.
I have the same phone and it's a great phone for basic stuff but it struggles with graphic heavy games. Codm completely can't even download its resources without crashing and genshin impact crashes after around 20-40 minutes of gameplay
My g7 power just died, had lineage OS on it and for the lifespan I got out of it it was a great phone for my minimal needs. Am looking at the new power but a lot of people have mentioned it only getting a year of support so now I'm unsure.
@@nadtz I want to try and get Lineage on mine but it’s the Amazon version and I saw it’s either more difficult or not compatible and I’m also not as tech savvy to do it.
@@BruhHowDidIGetHere I'm unsure what you mean by the amazon version but there are variations of phones that could cause issues. Haven't looked into that kind of thing in years though so not sure beyond knowing it's a thing. Considering some mistakes can brick your phone honestly if you aren't comfortable doing it it's probably safer not to.
@@nadtz it was the Amazon edition aka the one Amazon sold at a discount with Amazon promotions. They stopped doing that right after I believe, I should’ve been more specific, my apologies
@@BruhHowDidIGetHereI had no idea amazon specific editions were ever a thing, just looked it up and I see what you are talking about. Wouldn't be surprised if amazon did something funky to an amazon exclusive phone.
I recently got the moto g power 5G and really like it. Pros: great stereo, much faster and more memory than my g power 2021. Also, 5G makes it run faster when I'm out of wifi. Cons: slow charging, and I wish they'd left the hole punch camera in the corner, which intruded less during movies. And there's a hub on the 3rd screen that keeps me from placing my apps where they were on the old phone, but I can scroll down and they're alphabetic. Also, the most recently used are in the top row below the home screen. For $279, its a great phone.
I currently own a Motorola Edge 5G 2021 running Android 13 and my Geekbench 6 scores were 1,024 and 2,931 respectively (single-core, multi-core). I'm trying to find something that would run close enough to those scores. I'm looking to buy my mom a new phone that is near comparable to mine.
Moto G play is ass! Can't even play PUBG! It's the lite version and still lags! I switched to metro and got the Stylus 5g for free and it's amazing! The snapdragon 6 gen 1 chipset is sooo fast! Even the screen is good for being lcd and the stereo speakers are incredible
What do you think of Nokia G42 and xr21? They are very similar to Motorolas mid rangers and flag ship phones, but very few people review and compare those two brands here.
I have the same phone, just go into the developers menu (where it says phone build number/ about phone) tap that 7 times , and go into the menu it unlocked. you'll be glad you did. you can improve Wi-Fi, all sorts of other functions. 5:44
I just grabbed it for free at metro and the snapdragon 6 gen 1 chip is the fastest of all the phones in this video! I love it and use it over my iPhone 13 for PUBG and COD
Thank You* for posting this video. I recently went to a Metro/T-Mobile store, to reactivate a "MOTO G" STYLUS"(2021 model) phone for an older brother of mine. He or myself are not very computer mobile phone savy.. But I still got him the "MOTO G5 STYLUS"(2023 model), but he's unable to familiarize himself with the phones basic operating features.. Also, i myself currently have difficulty in getting to operate the basic features of the "MOTO 5G STYLUS".. Basically because i don't have lots of time to familiarize myself with the phone.. I appreciate Seeing and learning somethings from this video.. I'll just have to take the time to familiarize myself with correct operation of the phone. So in turn, i could show him how to use the basics of the phone.. "Thank You" again for posting your videos.. I'm sure your videos help out many viewers learn and make wiser decisions about current or future cell phone purchases..💯🎥🎬👍👌✌️😊🇺🇸
I have the Moto Stylus 5g and I'm telling you the snapdragon 6 gen 1 chipset is faster than the iphone 13 in certain areas like gaming! PUBG is almost twice as good on the Moto!
Coming from the G7 power I found the G play 2023 pretty disappointing. I am a pretty minimal phone user but this thing felt slower than the g7 power for basic web browsing and the few apps I use. Decided to look for something a little better since the G7 did last me 4 years and this is a solid roundup of the budget moto offerings, thanks for making this.
I recently got a OnePlus 8T for 100€ (used but basically new because the seller didn't use it much). At that price there isn't anything that can beat it.
