If you're an absolute beginner, I personally would recommend the Huion HS64. It's pretty cheap and has quite a decent size. If you want a slightly bigger one, they do offer a wide variety of choices, like the H640P. I'm currently using the Inspiroy Ink and I would highly recommend it if you have a higher budget.

I buyed a huion hs64 a few months ago and honestly, as my first tablet i didn't knew how to use and was kinda hard to get used to the pen working like a mouse that we don't even have to touch the screen, but today i can say that its an awesome tablet and i would just buy another if it's those with a screen (that to me makes things easier bcs i'm used to draw on Ibis Paint), anyways, i don't regret purchasing it

Bro don't be embarrassed first of all you're young, also when I re-started my art journey even though I "wasted" my time taking a long break. I have a healthier approach to art and my goals. So in reality, it wasn't a waste at all.

I agree. I was tempted to splurge and buy the latest ipad but i am just a hobbyist at most. Tools help but it doesnt replace ability. I decided to buy it when I was able to draw roughly using paint and a freakin mouse. It was like drawing with a rock. Hahaha. Btw, i love you! You are sharp as a knife and has the best tutorials

also extra note if you need a cheaper option huion inspiroy h640p is a must try!! the pressure is quite unstable but you'll get used to it eventually

I still use the V1 and it has served me really well for 2+ years. Getting the Xp Pen Artist 13.3 Pro mostly for the color accuracy since my laptops monitor sucks though. Plus having a screen will magically make me a better artist :P

I have an uncle who is a math teacher and he uses a drawing tablet to teach his lessons. He ended up having a new one courtesy of the school and so he gave me his old one because he heard that I've been saving up for one. It's a veikk tablet (a chinese brand). Even though it's not wacom or huion, lemme just say the brand sometimes does matter but remember that you make the art not the tablet.

my first tablet was a huion 1060plus. This thing is brilliant for the €50 it costs. It's got a nice drawing area, a comfy pen and a load of programable buttons. The cables are a bit crappy though

can i ask which laptop do u use to draw? thinkpad is great but my budget doesnt allow me to buy expensive ones which have better screen and be able to display a wider range of colors so i really consider between a thinkpad and a msi

Me: OH WOW! A cheap tablet that I can use! Let me just go buy it- Currency: H e l l o. Also I got an XP Pen that was considered cheap in SOME COUNTRIES and pretty small and it's absolutely fine for drawing. So don't look at the name of the product, rather the review of the actual tablet.

I agree! got myself an XP Pen as well because it was the cheapest around here lol after a while tho I've noticed the pen pressure does not really matter that much in the process, like you wouldn't press on your tablet too hard anyway. so I would recommend not to stress over the numbers and technical specs

I already have huion H430P and I can say its bit comfortable for use but when first time i use i really dont understand how to use it, and when i ask some webtoon artist, he says, maybe you must settings the tablet, and yea its work but still its just a bit comfortable not very comfortable.. But for newbie like me its worth it for buy

ive been using multiple drawing tablets in the past, my first one was a regular Huion H610 with the pen from the Huion 420, my 2nd one was a Huion H430p and my latest one is the XP PEN Artist 12 but i lost the pen to it so now i cant use it anymore and the pens are either freaking expensive or hard to find from this tablet since there's also the pro model and the new model so...... i was going to buy another new tablet but then i realized that used tablets are DIRT CHEAP!!!!!! like you can get a working wacom for just 10 dollars that performs just fine. so my advice here, if you're going to buy your first tablet is; go for something used, but not something that's heavily worn. it's okay if you use a older model, just make sure it's not a piece of crap and always go for the wacoms lol

Buying a used tablet is also a good way to get your first tablet. I got a used Wacom Intuos for half price and it was almost new.

Got question. I would like to move from paper to tablet because it would give me acces to so many colors. And I dont know is will it work or not. So theres tablet worth 25$ Xpen star and my question is if I will connect it to my PC will it show what I draw? Do I need special drawing program or Krita will work? And why I need so many so many stylus? Are they getting used just like pen or what?

ive got the gaomon s620 , great price, connectable to android , 8 nibs with 4 shortcut keys on the tablet! the only thing i hate is how the nibs wore out so fast for me (apparently ive replaced a nib about 3 months ago and its wearing out really fast) but overall great tablet

As long as you’re not buying older than five years, most modern processors should be plenty powerful for drawing programs. I would recommend looking for higher RAM and VRAM (video RAM). 8 GB RAM is a pretty comfortable amount if you’re not gaming, and 4 GB VRAM will offer a nice and crisp image with very little latency. With lighter use, you can of course get away with less powerful machines so long as you take care of it. But I think that’s a good ball park to look for

Wacom are built better than other cheaper brands ,contains less bugs and have less jitter .If anyone who want to start digital paint ask me which budget pen tablet should they get. I would recomand One by Wacom and they feel free to choose any size.

"Contains less bugs" lol I had the intuos pro medium and spend 2 whole days just to set up the drivers and the shortcuts still didn't work while the pressure was hit or miss. Never has a single issue with my xp pen deco 01. As far as feel goes though wacom is king, it really does feel like paper.

U should've send an email to wacom about it bc you have a warranty, mine worked really well im so comfortable with it, except the nibs are like crayon on that hard surface wacom made, so i put an ipad protecter screen on it so the nibs dont flash away :)

1:50 I strongly disagree that I would get used to my newest tablet. I feel like wacom does me dirty on every turn (except bamboo) they all feel like sandpaper to the pen and the pen loses its tip very fast. I'm looking for a better tablet now. I've had Huion and Trust before, I don't remember what their production names but they were ok. I just know that Wacom's Bamboo is an exception. My newest tablet is also too big, and I would prefer a smaller one so I can keep it on my lap.
