Pixel's raw photos are superior in my testing. Also, their videos are excellent too. S23's display is indeed more vibrant but Pixel's is very realistic.
5-6 hours of SoT on average. Easy 1 day battery from medium to heavy usage. I don't play heavy games so my usage is usually consuming media, phone calls etc.
See the thing is if you want a phone for raw power and performance then Google isn't for you. Majority of Indian customers want a phone with good specs at affordable price and there's nothing wrong in it. However, Google's focus is more on the user experience and software and that is top notch. Their main focus is on AI and there's no other company who can compete with them in AI computation. They could've easily gone with SD processors along with competitive pricing and their sales would've been pretty high. But then again what would be their identity? They would just be another One plus/Nothing or any of those Chinese brands under BBK corporations. Google is building their identity as an AI powerhouse. They aren't called "Smartest smartphone" for no reason. There are so many features which are just smart and useful in daily life like call screening, hold for me and then new AI features in the latest Pixels. Yes, many of those features are not available worldwide but imagine if they were then how much more useful their phones would be. I am just waiting for Pixel 10 in 2025 coz that will have Tensor G5 which will be a fully custom designed chip by Google fabricated by TSMC instead of Samsung. TSMCs fabrication should take care of the heating and battery drain issue along with further employment of AI would make Pixels much more appealing.
@@SwaroopTripathy Samsung should answer that. Despite having their own fabrication technology and their own processors (Exynos), why are they going with SD for their flagships? It's coz Exynos isn't a very good flagship option which is why they use SD processors and now they made an agreement with SD to slightly customise there 8Gen series for Samsung. So there are every chance that once Google moves to TSMC, 2025 onwards they probably with discontinue Exynos (atleast on the flagship level). Another important thing to note here is that when Google decided to make their own processors, it was Covid everywhere and that resulted in chip shortage worldwide. Also, the type of AI customisation they were looking for was not possible in SD processors so they needed a kind processor where their customisation was possible. Samsung's Exynos gave them that option which they are exploring with each Tensor generation (tweaking something new everytime) and it is showing. With each new generation of Tensors, the issues being faced in the previous ones are getting removed slowly. Yes, it will take them time to develop a processor which is an all rounder but you have to give it to them that within a span of 3 years they engineered a processor to go with their phones. They are straight going the apple way in having a smooth integration between their hardware and software with both being manufactured in-house. Next up is Google's ecosystem. They already have a Phone, smartwatch, ear buds, tablet, home assistance products (Google home) and a chrome book as well. They just have to work a little harder in the Chromebook on both hardware and software and integration with Google cloud then they'll be a very capable competitor to Apple.
Well, you are right 👍 brother A couple of years ago I exchanged my OnePlus 7 with Galaxy s10 lite because S10 lite was the only Samsung mobile that came with flagship SD 855 but after exchanged I got to know that nothing is different in Samsung with SD gaming performance was awful even OnePlus 6 could perform better than that. Second thing is UI, Personally I don't like their interface although they are not give any 3rd class apps but they fill their own apps which are not useful for most of the masses. Also in an app drawer UI one can feel the speed of a device but in Samsung there is no app drawer 😂. I don't know what is wrong with their devices It feels laggy and slow to perform day today activities. But for multimedia experience I always recommend Samsung as they are spending a handful for R&D as Subsidiary AKG for sound quality and speakers and also for displays. All this perfect blend provides an industry leading multimedia experience. To conclude; Samsung; For Multimedia experiences Pixel; For software,AI features and best camera(only images) Apple; overall package especially for creatures as their applications are more optimised as compare to Androids and also for privacy 🔏 OnePlus; without ads Oppo UI ke maje😂color oxygen
Your reviews helped me in making right decision. Thank you for such candid reviews. I was using pixel 4a5g for 2.5 years. Pixel users are testers of android for google. They are full of bugs and the VoLTE , VoWiFi & 5g are disabled for certain countries even though the bands are supported. There are also manufacturing quality issues with their handsets. My phone back got swollen and developed a crack. I switched to s23 and trust me Samsung really makes practically usable phones(specially flagships) and it's worth every penny. I have started to hate pixels especially their tensor chips. A very few percentage of people actually use the AI feature. It's a marketing gimmick.
Production quality is top notch... No shit talks, no bad humor..no sarcastic tone.. Just Pure review.. Like geekyranjit.. Please keep this consistency.. And go more on technical details like mkbhd do..
S23 is BEAST! Battery wale department me Pixel ki better hai and last time ke comparison me samsung has improved well, camera me AI magic and Night photos me Pixel 8 hi zayada accha hai but overall better camera setup hai Samsung S23 ke paas (Telephoto + Better Day photos and overall better video recording + more features). Display and performance me samsung is miles ahead of Pixel and security me dono kafi neck to neck hai! Yes software department me Pixel 8 is better but dekhte hai kya 7 saal tensor G3 updates jhel payega? 😂
Tensor Badi tension dene Wali cheez just like stupendous stupid stupidonos Exynos istamall kar raha hu mai Tensor use nahi kiya par research n analysis kiya hai
S23 256gb chala raha hu jabse launch hua. 54k ka liya maine 256gb exchange aur bohot saare discounts ke saath. Bohot hi amazing phone hai. Games ekdum makhan chalte hai isme. Battery bypass ka bhi option hai toh game khelte time charge connect karo toh direct charger se processor ko power jayega, battry consume nahi hoga, uss se battery health achi rehti hai. Uske alawa, 3x zoom se bohot versatile camera setup ho jaata hai. Mai toh bohot use karta hu 3x zoom day time pe. Raat mein 2x use kar sakte hai jo lossless zoom karta hai 50mp camera ko crop karke. Samsung dex bhi bohot tage feature hai. Monitor se connect karke video editing wagerah kar sakte hai. Instagram bhi optimized hai s23 ke liye toh reel upload karoge 1080p 30fps 10 mbps mein toh bohot pyaari quality aata hai almost iPhone jaisa.
@@SwaroopTripathywell after 5g only a fool won't be watching in more than 1080p.. and brightness doesn't mean better picture reproduction.. every highlight area is blown out in s23
Pixel 7 pro or pixel 8 afterall they are at same price..priority is camera and good performance (not a hardcore gamer)...or go with other smartphone suggest........😊
Tensor G to Tensor G3 were manufactured by Samsung so the heating and throttle issue is there. But no more because the tensor G4 is manufactured by TSMC and Tensor G4 will be present on Google's next phones. Now Samsung S23 has snapdragon gen 2 which is manufactured by TSMC that's why no throttling issue is there.
Still nobody would buy them except some tech nerds,95% of people at that price rance prefers apple, and other 5% would go for either Samsung or OnePlus or some crazy innovative phones from Vivo/oppo/xiaomi
S23 is far better but i think it is good to invest in own processor which can help google in future as android os, hardware, procesor, etc can bring android above iphone as google is far more innovative.
@@rotero-vb4qs not very much...but honestly speaking I don't playing games right now because of studies but i often play freefire or max settings so no heating issues while gaming for 1-2 hours
Don’t forget to mention battery bypass option on samsung lol you can game with a charger plugged in without worrying about battery drop haha it also helps keep battery health high for a long time, not to mention s23 is heavily discounted atm
I have been an iPhone user all my life (still am), but have bought the pixel 8 , and it’s an absolute delight to use. Samsung might boast a better hardware, pixel offers the best android experience.
@@tusharbadewale1424 I manage to get an average of 6 hour usage time from it. I own the 256GB one and it is fab as it can be. Watched sanchit's video and bought it after a week. Till date, no complaints. My usage consists of mainly of a regular corporate finance guy: Finance Shorts, Finfluencer Reels, Some light game sessions, WhatsApp and RU-vid and Spotify Streaming at night
It's not only about performance.. It lags behind in many departments..including looks with ugly looking bezels..Don't try to defend your purchase that has gone wrong
@@sidd1995 looks are actually subjective and I personally like how it looks and feels, ans since I'm a working professional I don't my phone that much so still there's much to explore about the pixel. It might be lagging behind others but still it serves my purpose so it's good for me.
Could you pls test it on 5g network on pixel 8. My pixel 8 not even giving 3hrs SOC on airtel 5G no gaming. It taking 3hrs to charge 0-100 30w google adapter. To charge 30 to 100 it took 1hr 55 mins. Not sure my device has issue or not. Heating issues are there. Flipkart not even responding or helping to return or replacement. They saying check with brand. Not sure how to proceed further
Hi Sanchit, Planning to upgrade my phone after 4 yrs. I'm really confused whether to go for S23 (256GB) around INR 55k or stretch to S24 (256GB)? Budget can be stretch but is it worth the investment or S23 is still a better choice? Or should I also consider iphone? Camera, performance, features, battery life & longevity are my priorities.
@@69npcs Really appreciate your suggestions. One plus 12 is quite good on paper....will check that out in store as well. S23 INR @54k & S24 @ 65K here at my place
PLEASE MAKE A COMPARATIVE VIDEO BETWEEN TENSOR vs EXYNOS vs MEDIATEK vs SNAPDRAGON PROCESSORS WITH PROS & CONS ALONG WITH YOUR HONEST ANALYSIS & SUGGESTIONS
Did you faced battery drain more than usual because I just got it and just getting 3hrs SOT with normal insta and twittwr and little bgmi session. I think it is because it optimises after some time its been 4 days only and I did not charged it to 100% nor drained it below 20% should I? Is battery backup got better?
I've been a long-time Pixel user. I used to love the Pixel 4a, but then I upgraded to the Pixel 6a, which proved practically useless due to heating issues caused by the tensor chip. The tensor chip has brought more drawbacks than features to the phones. I switched to the S23, and I'm thrilled with my decision. Now, I can fully utilize all the features the phone claims to offer.
I'm still a pixel 4a user and I'm thinking of switching to S23. What's been your experience like switching to S23? I'm from South Gujarat, India, in case you feel like it might make a difference somehow(battery issue, if there is)
@@parthtandel1141 The battery is good considering the size of the phone. You do not have to stress about the battery because it lasts enough. The performance is amazing, very comfortable to hold and the cameras are good too. I'm very happy with my decision of buying this phone.
samsung was no good till s22 because of samsung foundry based snapdragon SoC's (till 8 gen1), since tensor is yet a part of samsung foundry, and they'll probably shift towards TSMC's fabrication (in a year or two) & everyone knows exynos was a throttle king.
Just to let you know, the masses tend to like more customisable and feature packed ui's such miui, one ui over pixel's plain and boring ui,the stock Android is only for tech geeks/nerds,other than them, the normal users do not like the pixel experience/stock ui coz of lack of features and customisations
Gone are the days when raw performance mattered Now its all about software experience I was also confused between the 2 but went with pixel 8 just because i want to experience pure android experience( camera is a plus), overpriced yes but the software experience no other phone can give Conclusion: u can neither go wrong with any of the the 2, both are best, depends on what u want, raw pwrformance or software experience
One UI is a skin over android, it's cluttery, junky, longer boot time and takes about 30-59 GB of your phone depends on storage you go for, but i've never seen more than 13-20 GB on any pixel device. (nobody needs a V12 engine to drive for office )
@@yashovermansingh4519 I guess the last you used one UI would have been in S9 😂 S23 won't take much time to boot and if you have the 256 gb variant space won't matter experience will and it's subjective I have used pixel 7 but couldn't be away for more than a month from Samsung. Samsung UI is a whole different league
I am currently pixel4a user and thinking of buying pixel 8 but i have put on hold primarily due to 2 things i have read and seen from reviews 1. Heating issues 2. Low signal reception What is your experience of the above 2 criteria?
Pixel ka service network useless hai. Google is a software company not a hardware company. Phone pe zyada dhyan nahi dete woh log. While Samsung is purely a hardware company and service is top notch...
@@Aman-ye4cv bro i am also a pixel 7 user 1) There are many issues present in this Tensor chips like too much heating in normal task. 2) Bad 5g coverage 3) Product too much heat while using 5G & while Recording videos in 4k60fps 4) And Pixel also comes with Bugs don't be fool 5) Pixel never be a Flagship smartphone without Flagship processor. Do you think Tensor G3 able to handel 7years of Android Updates. On the other side iPhone chips are the most powerful chip in the smartphone market that's the biggest reason why people use iPhone for long periods of time, Even mediatek & sd better than Tensor
@@anshulsingh4355 lol 😂😂😂. iphone 13 is a joke in 2024. it's too old now. I don't recommend any iphone older than 15 series in 2024 except for senior citizens
Knowing how M series, A series, FE series and S Series are having the similar design from the behind and the price of all the smartphones ranging from 13k to 75k is such a turn off. I don't mind if they come up with the similar design with the S series for many coming years, but I am absolutely not buying a flagship phone that looks like a phone ranging from 10-20k from the same brand. Nope.
Hi, I have a question about the Pixel 8: should I buy the 8/128 or the 8/256 variant? I'm a normal user who primarily views videos and uses social networks like Instagram and WhatsApp, and I also need to store some photos and videos.
That's gross over simplification...an uncle is not always someone who lives under a rock and I've seen many gen z who get hooked to oppo and Vivo...as for Pixel 8 let the scorching summer come it will show it's true color

bhai in the video it seems that display of pixel 8 is way better because in all the scenes in the s23 everything is overblown like the shadows , the hills and all the things seems to be way better visible on the pixel 8
