I felt the wave of relief and gratitude in that "thank you so much" He will never return to the unsafe home again. What beautiful people his family is, they gave this young man not only a family and a home, but also hope.

Beyond beautiful.... my younger sister is adopted and I wouldn't have known the difference unless someone had told me. A FAMILY IS A FAMILY BECAUSE OF LOVE.... simple as that.......

Oh my heart! What a gift of identity. Finally, he's home where he is loved. Children desire direction, security and love. Of course, some parents place other priorities outside the home first, above their children. Thank God, this family discerned his needs and desires. So very beautiful. ❤
As a foster kid myself, this hit me right in the feels. I'm so happy for him and God Bless that family. That really is the best Christmas gift he will ever receive.
I was never a foster kid but i wasn't treated very kindly growing up. I never had this kind of love as a kid. I am an adult who wishes to love another person the way the kipharts loved this child.

that kid had demons a lot of us will never understand, respect to this family for making him feel loved, and treating him how he was meant to be treated all along.
I am that kid but 20 years prior. I never got adopted. I had a grandmother who tried to rescue me as much as she could but she got cancer and died. I had a tough life on the streets before I could finally figure out how to do this on my own, so I can 100% validate that this kid appreciates this more than anyone could ever understand.
What an incredible gift to Carter, and I am sure we all shed a tear of gratitude to his new family!! Blessings in abundance to this loving and generous family!!

I can tell God is real, once i prayed for some girl who had cancer, the doctors said they couldnt help her more, and that they had tried their best. Then i really began to pray every single day, and now.. her hair is growing back and shes almost a healthy child who can do anything she wants!! Now for the sad part, i began to stop praying, and a young guy in my family got cancer, i didnt really pray for him.. so at the end, he died! and i feel so guilty for not praying to him, i feel like it MY fault hes dead- he just got a baby sister and he loved her, may God bless him, and everyone else who suffers from mental health! ❤️@@Makenziethedog

They are already blood related so I don't see the problem taking care of their nephew. I would do the same thing for anyone of my nieces or nephews in a heartbeat no question. Plus since we are already blood related no reason to adopt we are already family.

I got to grow up with my biological brother We were adopted together I was 2 years old he was 3 months old. To this day even after meeting my birth family who illegally broke into the Hall of records they paid somebody to find out where we were etc I still feel that the people who adopted us are my parents. They gave us a life together where most families would have separated us. So glad you got to be with your sibling. Hold on to it remember it. He passed away 30 years ago this Christmas.

I'm 37 & this stuff makes me tear up with joy, every time. We all experience how unfair life can be & we all will experience it again, numerous times. It strikes my heart to see children have these experiences & most adults have not a clue of how detrimental the impact is on a child. TO BE ACCEPTED IS ONE THING & IT IS GREAT. BUT WHEN YOUR ACCEPTED WITH LOVE THATS AUTHENTIC/GENUINE. THERE IS NOTHING ELSE LIKE THIS FEELING IN THE WORLD.....
