cloud's dante is prolly the most hype thing in this game. he actually makes it look like this is just a devil may cry game using every tool in dante's arsenal for nothing but that smokin sick stylish score.
I miss this game i played this when I was like 6 years old and my team was either dante,ryu,deadpool, dante,zero,spiderman, or dante,vergil,Virgil, trish I always had dante on my team
@@DumbPurpleBobaCat They had to lower damage to have better combo potential (Vergil literally has both which is damn cracked) so Dante looks like he's pulling off crazy combo's while playing on DMD. He may do lower damage but atleast you won't make the opponent move. Edit: What could you expect from Capcom? They really made Zero, Spencer, Morrigan, Phoenix Wright, Firebrand, Dante and Vergil too powerful for this game, the only worst one to come out of it was like Nemesis, cuz the lvl 3 is total bullshit, bad range and doesn't have invincibility.
@@AsakuraEX I'm going to disagree for two reasons, both of which might be uncommon: #1) It's easier for me to see what's going on in MVC1, MVC3 is just nonstop chaos, even when the actual gameplay is tight/ no button mashing. #2) MVC1 will play on a damn potato, so I can find people to play with all over the Globe with Fightcade. I'll get off my soapbox now.
Imagine being able too have full on kill confirms, that hit the opponent without your attacks actually making contact with them. Ahhhhh yes those were the days.
What’s weird is he played Dante this well even though he’s a Zero player mainly. Every other player who plays Dante for the assist play pretty horribly when they forced to play him, Milky is the only one who i feel plays almost just as well but still doesn’t touch what Cloud did back in the day…. … funny how I feel the same way about Vergil
The lvl 3 wasn't a mistake regardless if sentinel was tagged in or not. Dante was his last character, and if bionic arm connected he would've been dead. The sentinel tag was pretty stupid though.
In the same video you have two commentators getting frustrated with cloud for not doing two acid rains and another one for doing two instead of delaying the first one. wtf? lol

Because all characters had such playstyle but cloud just perfected playing Dante so much he knew how many frames everything took. He could have practiced any characters at that extent even if not high tier like Dantes chains and the same would be said but practice makes the best players.

what he did was a bold cancel, which was the jump after the stinger into a air dash j. S. It's a lot easier than the tp in XF and he was close to the wall anyways

@@nikopteros1659 i mean, fighterz is still trash in comparison to this or Guilty Gear, even in GG's oldest games they had a crapload of tech for the characters and Fighterz is a competiton of who can press square faster
