this song feels huge and intimate at the same time. that's quite a feat.

The restaurant I worked at played this on their soundtrack and for years I’ve wondered who sings this. Literally four years of trying to shazam this song but every time it came on I’d have a new table to greet. One day after a long day after driving home I was about to park and exit the car when it came on the radio. I sat in the dark late at night, shazamed it and felt finally at peace. So happy I could die..

If you're in California, I highly suggest that you go out at night (preferably your yard, porch or rooftop), sit somewhere that's nice, calm and quiet and listen to this song. It's fucking magical, I can't even put it into words. I miss California so much, best state of them all

Back in 2015, on a road trip driving from San Francisco back to Lakewood California, it was around 3 in the afternoon, driving through an area with hills, vines, farms, and similar to the video, this song comes on XM ALT station, just an overwhelming feeling of bliss…

I was stationed in San Diego for 3.5 Years on the USS Ranger. This song makes me think about Mission Beach at midnight, the smell of Square Pan Pizza coming down the street meeting the smell of good weed coming up from the ocean and being caught in between with love in my heart and a dream in my hand..., I have been where this song comes from and I wish I could go back..., It was a real dream that made me live and live so wonderfully away from my ship and the hard times there.

I've lived in California my whole life, and this is my favorite song about my home state ever. Yes, Going to California by Zep is great, but this captures what California means to me, it captures some impossible to explain essence. This is California.

The performed this song along with about 3 others from the new album and they sound amazing! Didn't get a chance to meet Bethany, but I've met Bob a few times and he really is the nicest guy ever. I lived in California all my life and never left the state until about 3 weeks ago when I hopped on a plane kinda on a whim and moved out to a different state. I miss so much about California. Listening to this on a night drive on the 5 freeway and staring at the sky, ocean and buildings. I miss it there. I'll come back someday.

'California Nights' is an absolutely beautiful dreamy song which showcases the talent of Best Coast. The cinematography in this video is also well done.

I finally found this song! When it came out KCRW in Los Angeles would play it and will transport me, I was living by the beach in Marina del Rey/Venice and had many years of magical moments with my ex-wife there. I loved her and this song so much, that I wanted to make a music video for it, and I started actually doing the shots. Some of them when filming drones just came out. One day I will finish it and post it. Thank you for the great memories and tunes. Love you.

Cali has its share of issues and isn't perfect, literally like every other state and country. But I'll always be thankful that I both grew up, and continue to live, here. From deep south San Diego to NorCal to Eureka. I love this anthem to the state for those of us who love it.

This is what I listened to when leaving texas after we sold our home and headed west to WA state. Best times. Now it sucks but looking back it was the good days. Will relive these again.
