Urtet is going to be pretty strong. Any commander that creates tokens just for casting same creature type is always strong. (Goshintai/Markov) Im excited for this.
and you can use the artifact Maskwood Nexus to make all of your creatures myr. And if you add in any sort of clone or copy effect in your deck you can get infinite mana with Myr Galvanizer as it costs 1 generic to untap all myr you control!
I really like toxic, vs infect for a bunch of cards. Pure infect decks can be a bit extreme, but you can now make a casual toxic deck with a goal of not killing off players with infect, but there are fun new cards that you bonus off of players having 3 or more poison counters which is cool.
Kinzu goes in the 99 of my Umbris deck. Just brings Umbris back as a token and he comes back just as big as when he left. I'm also very excited to build Ovika. Super high cost but seems like a lot of fun. I want to try and build it with zero creatures.
It's probably worth noting, when you've played with your infect/poison/toxic commander once, you are forever more archenemy from the very start of the game if you ever chose that deck again
after having goldfished a chiss-goria deck about 20 to 30 times, it can come out fast! The thing with the deck though is that it perfectly embodies red: you will get value quick, but you also will "burn" your cards. You have to take what you need in the moment knowing that you are going to toss potential wincons or great artifacts out the window. You go into it knowing you are either going to demolish or be demolished. Gambling red.
Unctus has 3 relevant infinite combos that let you loot your entire library. Unctus + aphetto alchemist or unctus + seeker of skybreak. You can also use Pili-pala + unctus as long as you have a way to tap pili-pala for 1 mana. Loot entire library is good. Das ist good. Das is very good.
Building a Kethek Deck. Working with it's ability is actually very difficult, trying to find out what creatures you can cheat out, and is a fun deckbuilding challenge
I have a question because I am kinda new to the game. If a creature has toxic 1 and something gives it toxic 1 it goes up to toxic 2? And one more question: if a creature with infect hits an opponent they get the poison counters, but do they also get combat dmg?
Yes, new abilities will stack. I played in a prerelease event and my deck was green/white toxic. I had equipment that gave toxic, and creatures that also gave toxic to other creatures, so everything stacked up to where I was dishing out as many as six poison counters per combat.
Happy for a myr mander. But with the price hikes and to honestly make myr work youll need alot of high price cards so I'll be just buying proxies. The greed is out of hand. But thanks for a myr mander .
The direction I’m going with my graaz deck is 1-1 counters theme. I put all the modular creatures in there so they’ll get the graaz bump, plus the counters bump. Also if any of them die I just move the counters over to another artifact creature.
