I've watched some Real fans reacting to the game, it seems a lot of them were still convinced they have enough time in the last few minutes to do something. Saying things like "we just need one and City will crumble". I felt the same way. That's difference between the teams, their players and their fans. Real just needed that first one and getting it so late might have been better for them, after Pep took off his best players, the ones who could settle the team down for a few minutes.

I could not watch the game but I was following the score. When I saw the man City goal. I just KNEW Madrid would win it. They had just awakened the beast. If the score was 0-0 they had a better chance but by scoring they awoke the giant. And the rest is history....

The difference is clear, when RM scored the first goal the face of all these fans was one of defeat, they panicked, and when they scored the second goal they were already defeated. They had 30 minutes, 26 after the penalty, to score 1 goal, but they couldn't because HISTORY paralysed them.

Man City is my favorite major team in the EPL (my heart is with West Ham). So, it is tough to see these gents have to endure this devastatingly unexpected loss...especially given that Manchester City has not won the Champions League in 52 years. As proud as I am to support Real Madrid, I feel selfish this time given that they have won 4 out of the last 8 Champions League finals. I have also supported teams that rarely win championships only to have them waste good leads; crumbling at the last minute against powerful clubs. It can be disturbing. All I can do is wish Man City bigger blessings next time. This year, I am proud of Real Madrid for winning against the odds repeatedly. No one gave them a prayer this time around. Yet, here they are in the final, again. I will be cheering them on against Liverpool.

The guy at 20:13 complaining about the referee blowing the whistle early and not waiting 15 more secs is just being delusional. City still wouldn’t of scored in those seconds. Im a neutral and like real madrid more than city, but how can you be mad at them for complaining about that? The referee should not be blowing the whistle that early, simple, and its football you never know what could happen, they couldve had a last attack, so its unfair to say that 100% they wouldnt have scored, and its unfair to say they shouldnt complain about that. Because im sure if this happened the other way around you would say city paid the refs

Honestly, I knew we had won after that first goal. Not even the second one, the first In fact, 88th minute, 5-3 on aggregate, I honest to God believed on our victory. Maybe I was spoiled by the previous remontadas but I was completely calm until Rodrygo’s goal. I was on edge during the Chelsea game, didn’t relax until the last second of the Liverpool one - but I just knew we’d get City.
