It is perceived as a means of conveying the social and cultural values from the heart of Africa. It is the beating drum of our Africanity. There are plenty of beautiful music and dance genres around the world, but when the heart of Africa dances the entire world feels the energy. Once you see and hear it, you can't help but wonder: " what on earth is this?", the Congolese would simply tell you: "don't blink."
