Game looks amazing..120fps is cool but I’d rather 60fps cause it’s full 4k.. although I didn’t see a huge difference with it off but it wasn’t like it was a wow factor..it’s perfect in 60fps and I boosted the Cas settings and along with vrr and freesync premium this game is great..the campaign is making me mad cause it’s allot of try again moments lol.. it’s cool though,I like it

For the campaign I played at 60fps on my 4k 120hz OLED and it was great. For multiplayer and spec ops\dmz 120fps mode is the best by far it's so fluid and still looks great with CAS sharpening on. It's 1440p 120fps I'm sitting a few feet away from my oled and it certainly looks great still and the small sacrifice is worth 120fps

Yea enabling 120 hz in game destroys the graphics. Makes it hard to enjoy the game for me personally. Plus I didn’t notice much of a difference having it on in regards to gameplay. Plus I have 120 enabled thru my xsx settings. So I’m getting 120 regardless

Yeah, I just downloaded the game yesterday after 49 GB creating a profile I started that third person MoshPit, which was horrible. Every time I ducked down it was like flashing behind me and like doing weird shit and then I wanted to play campaign and didn’t realize I had to download another 39 GB and for some reason the multiplayer didn’t even looking at next generation, the graphics looked horrible compared to the demos I’ve seen on the series X so I’m trying to figure out how to make it look better

Yep fidelity FX might aswel be on in 120hz mode it's just a bonus I set it to 80. I don't think 60hz mode needs it but you can do 20 to 40 I guess

I'm on series x. And 120fps makes my graphics alot poorer. I'm sat next to my gf playing on an xbox one x woth a cheap 4k telly. I'm using a etter Samsung 120hz telly woth 2.1 hdmi on a series x and she here game looks amazing compared to my blurry hand and gun detail and texture lesser version using 120fps. It's annoying having to choose between one or the other. I want my game to look amazing. But I also want 120fps 😭

wow thanks for the tip, was wondering why the game looked bad compared to videos on youtube (I know they're using PC but thought it would look better on SX) but the difference is huge after switching off 120Hz. I am playing on 1440p monitor so not affected by the resolution drop but the textures are nowhere as detailed and clear either. After playing with the smooth 120fps, 60 feels so slow though so think will stick with 120 for multiplayer.

Yes you have to sacrifice some image quality to double your framerate it isn't magic. It runs at 120fps at 1440p though which is rather nice looking on my 4k OLED. I know some TVs and models have poor HDMI 2.1 gaming features implented like some Sony ones and they turn off a lot of picture quality features and cut horizontal resolution in half to let 120hz VRR work. Other brands like LG don't make compromise and 1440p 120fps looks really good especially with CAS. Hope that helped it it's not a tv with lacking features you may have to look your tv up online. Lastly are you using the HDMI cable that came with your series X? It it's not and it's an old and slow cable it's not getting enough data through to do 1440p 120hz so it's cutting down the quality to allow it to run on the cable. Hope one helps

Am I the only person that hates HDR on PS5? Making bright colours blindingly bright and dark colours almost unseeable is just asinine especially on a game like cod where seeing enemies is hard enough as it is. Plus I feel when the colours are stupidly powerful and boisterous it can be really painful on my eyes.

Hdr is only good for playing the campaign to immerse yourself. If your playing multiplayer competitively than it’s better to disable it (which I do too)

It's dependant on your tv. It should be illegal to have HDR compatible on certain TVs who's colours are awful and crappy brightness. I thought the same when I owned a cheaper tv in 2015 that did HDR thought it was overrated. Then in 2021 I got a 4k OLED and HDR looks absolutely beautiful way better than SDR. If you have a good tv like that then it's likely your calibration settings or presets.

It's easy to test as well. Just use your hands. If you want to see anything clearly, you'll focus on the background, making the foreground (in this case, hands (could do finger guns to simulate actual gun. If not, hold phone as gun)) get unfocused and blurry.

Nah in 60hz mode it has higher graphical fidelity than cold war. What makes it sometimes ugly is the crappy anti aliasing so some edges have jaggies.

Ps5 supports 1440p so does Xbox series? So you either need a 1440p monitor or a 4k plus tv\monitor. I have a LG 4k 120hz OLED and some games run at 1440p and it looks great not quiet 4k but sometimes close
