I belong to the middle class and my parents and lots of people that I know are overworked and underpaid, politicians are corrupted, the m*fia is still a big problem, the school system is terrible and there are also big problems with the discriminations of minorities (e. g. black people and homosexuals). Obviously Finland also has its problems, but surely the quality of life is way better than Italy.

But with that, there comes great healthcare, almost nothing you have to pay for school or university, a very good minimum wage and what I think is really good is that you get money for a lot of things. If you don’t have a job, you get money from the government, if you have kids, you get money from the government, if you are married, you have to pay less taxes, so you basically get money from the government and so on And what’s also very good is that we don’t have many firearms around, which leads to less crimes than in other countries, so it’s very save here (I mean I have never really witnessed a crime, I only ever heard of the car of my mom getting stolen by a polish guy) We also don’t have like school shootings obviously We also have way less homeless than other countries And we are a very climate friendly country, 50% of our energy comes from renewable sources, we have many recycling systems, like the Pfand system where you bring empty bottles back to the store and get a bit money back (varying between 15 and 25 cents per bottle) So all in all you can say Germany is a safe and affordable country, it’s expensive for rich people but supports poor or disabled people, you get many free things and it’s a very clean and climate friendly country with having a lot of recycling systems that actually work quite well The only real downside are the people, we have some real idiots here but I think it’s still better than in the us
