yeah thanks Mark. Night and day difference. I was thinking a lot about what you said yesterday and I may just take the risk and leave the side door open on the kayak and plug in the Rode. Definitely in fresh water for sure.

yeah give that one a shot.. you will like it a lot. You can add it to a jig and let it crawl along the bottom

Im starting to fish more with creature baits, and when I saw the mega strike, I was like.." Yup! Gotta try that 1! " lol.. I got the blue n black. I'm going to run a 5/16 weight and use a 3/0 hook for this bad boi!

Desmond does a "shout out" every Friday or Saturday evening to help smaller fishing channels get subscribers. Key West Kayak Fishing has several videos about RU-vid payments and monetizing. I like the technical information you give during your videos, like the lure your using, how you retrieve it, line, rod, reel, etc. Helps me decide what to use in a similar situation. Thanks, Mickey

Mike, yeah it is good to just experiment with different baits. So many of the lakes are heavily pressured. What this means is that they are seeing the same artificial baits all of the time. This is why I like to use a unique bait like this. I will check out your channel too

it really is. The fish are always learning too. They are involved in "fishing" 24/7. They see baits all day.

one more thing.. Those hooks do not come with the twist lock springs. I buy those in bulk separately. Amazing how much cheaper it is.

well you and I spoke about 18 months ago about hooks, losing fish, etc This setup has been working well for me. Lots of good hook sets and very few lost fish. ** yes, the new mic is MUCH better! I just uploaded another video on the other channel and quickly re-recorded the intro and ending using the new mic. Huge difference.
