I bought SMW before I knew about Armaf. I got the Armaf out of curiosity and it definitely projects more and lasts longer. The original dries down to a skin scent within 30 minutes., and is completely gone within an hour. Buying Silver Mountain Water is my biggest fragrance regret of all time.

Wow this stuff is amazing at first it comes off a little sharp and rosybut the dry down of this is a 10/10 it is better then creed as it last ages I sprayed 3 days ago on myself and a shirt I wore the shirt today as I’m writing this and 3 days later and it is still so strong I feel as if I have sprayed it on myself again last forever

Try the Club de nuit limited edition parfum, I have Creed Aventus and I actually prefer it to Creed, very well rounded opening, double the longevity and performance, that's my honest personal opinion. Cheers!

I had a bottle of smw years ago & I loved it, finally got round to buying another in 2019 & it sucked. It lasted about an hour, no projection, nothing. Reformulated junk. Sillage smells like OG smw, I bought a bottle and on first spray I just smiled. We are now in the situation where the ‘clone’ smells & performs better than the real thing. Creed are taking the piss with their constant reformulations & price hikes. Do yourself (and your wallet) a favour & buy Armaf Sillage instead.

I get more complements on this fragrance than any other in my collection... two sprays and everyone in the room is happy. It is inoffensive, bright, inky, woody and clean. Honestly, as Armaf fragrances get older and macerate, they grow even more pretty.

I just bought it blind, and honestly I don't like it. I'm not sure which note it is, but something in it turns me off. I'm guessing it's one of the floral notes, Rose, Violet or Jasmin. Whatever it is it reminds me of something an old grandma would wear, and my nose doesn't agree with it.

I didn't like this when I first got it. However, after it sat for a few months I now like it. Same thing happened to armaf milestone. One of my most hated scents when I first got it. Let it sit for a few months and ended up being one of my most worn fragrances this summer.

Had the same thing with some Armaf scents, especially with Milestone so far. Had me thinking about overripe celery when I first sprayed it on. I hated it. It has gotten so much better now and lost that pungent smell mostly (still has a bit to go, maybe a month or two). My guess is that they don't macerate (age) their scents before they are bottled which makes some sense financially by getting the bottles on the market as quick as possible. What's strange to me however that this doesn't seem to be the general opinion, the off-putting smell out of a new Armaf bottle. So maybe also a batch problem or something else?

@@btkzooi I think some bottles sit longer than others. We just happened to get the super new bottles. People try them and either keep them and let them sit or return them. Once returned they have sat a while and are sold as new with a better smell. It's just faster to sell quicker with not much downside to the company. It sucks for the consumer tho. Might buy a fragrance for summer and it only gets good in the fall. Missed the whole season. Luckily for me I bought milestone in the late winter and it got better just in time for warmer weather.

Not for date nights or flush events,but perfect for day wear going out for lunch,or doing event around a bay or all things summer. It’s perfect for it. It’s even perfect for music festivals,when you sweat a lot,it works well for it. Gym junkies love wearing it when taking their top off,it blends well with muscular physique,I enjoy it.😎

Sillage is fantastic smells great and performs so does Milestone.I used to be a clone snob until I got those two they are quality.I will however never get Club De Nuit simply as I dont need it I have Cedrat Boise and MB Explorer when you blend those two you become the god of great smelling

I bought CDN Sillage. I really enjoy the opening and the late dry down. But the rose in the mid kills it for me! It is terrible to my nose on my skin! I would have prefered they left it out and or swaped it for something more complimentary to the overall scent profile.

Sillage is nuclear! One spray is enough if sprayed on the neck, can be headache inducing otherwise. Definitely worth the price, it’ll last forever

A lot of the Higher brand end up being reformulated and being weaker than when they first came out and the Dupes end up outperforming the more expensive higher quality fragrances. I’d be mad if I paid $200-$500 for something and a $30 bottle out performs it with damn nye identical scent!

Armaf is awesome!! I have Hunter and Sillage.... I have smelled Creeds SMW you can smell the price difference 😄 but Amazon sells Sillage for $40 or less compared to $400 is a no brainer for me.

@@ak.742 I blind bought intense after watching a ton of reviews (that’s the one I suggest personally). I liked it so much I picked up the other 2. I got them from Maxaroma. Good prices. They might even have sample sprayers, you just have to check the website. Intense is the bolder of the 3, good for a day/night out with your bros. Sillage is a good clean “watery” scent…not aqua, good for all situations. Milestone is a little “pineappley” and better for summertime. Hope that helps!

In nearly every single fragrance review there is someone who says that whatever is being reviewed is "the most complimented fragrance in my collection." That means that either the collection in question is pretty small or this statement just doesn't mean much of anything in general because no matter how big your collection is, someone else is going to say something different.

@@ChaosFragrances Hey man I’m glad you responded. Could you do a video on Fragrance oils? I have a lot of name brand 4oz bottled Fragrance oils that smell EXACTLY like the Fragrance itself. Dolce and Gabbana Light blue, Jimmy Choo, Sauvage, Bleu De Chanel, Gucci Guilty, etc. All of these oils smell exactly like the actual Fragrance and I have saved tons of money and people can’t even tell the difference. You think you could do a video on this?

I have it. Don’t really like it as much as I did when I initially sprayed it for the first time. Has an odd smell to it but it’s not a terrible fragrance it’s worth the price especially because of projection and longevity. Just isn’t for me.

I think in the same way that some folks may prefer Outback Steakhouse to a real steakhouse, I find myself preferring Sillage to Silver Mountain Water. I know it doesn't make any sense. I recently finished the last of my SMW and decided to give Sillage a try. Both are amazing, but I actually like the clone a little better. The bottle is unabashedly hideous though. Oh, and to the point about Aventus clones, nothing comes close to replacing Aventus, not even close.

Omg I thought you just walked into a temple. Gives me a headache. Maybe it’s the musk but I don’t get citrus. Just to much for me and I wasted my money on it. Really smells like incense and if you like that go for it.
