I'm privileged to say I lived in Buenos Aries for 2 years. Great people, massive passion for life, this entire concert epitomises what I love about Argentina
I second that. Been in Argentina Buenos Aires and Cordoba. The most lively people I have ever met. They love life and they they find happiness in every single event. Amazing people. I miss their vibe already ❤️
I'm from Argentina and any concert at that stadium is always the same. No matter of what band plays there . Although when my home team plays there River Plate ⚽ team it gets 10 times more crazier . I was at that concert and seen : The Police - Clapton just to name a couple of many I've seen. But nothing like the Copa Libertadores 2018 🏆⚽
That was a very young crowd. Young and active! They knew the lyrics. They knew all of Angus' riffs and moves. That was a real crowd, perhaps the best ever.
After this recital, the River Plate stadium was closed for recitals because the sound of the band and the jumping of the public caused movements and cracks in the nearby buildings. Recitals could not be held for several months. It was epic!
I attended that concert and needed 4 days to recover my body after it !!! I've seen a lot of concerts around the world (lived about 20 years abroad in 8 countries) and I can tell ya, .... WE have definitely the best crowd in the world. Greetings from Argentina !!!
ACDC fué impresionante pero tambien cuando viene Metallica, Foo, Megadeth, todas las bandas de rock yl metal. Hace poco estuvo Metallica y ellos subieron los videos tocando Seek and destroy y Creeping death...... impresionante !!!
Not too shabby for a bunch of old dudes!!!!! AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so says their official web site so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson was 63, Angus Young was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! So says Austin Tx!!!! 🤣🤣🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎😎🍸
Amazing video guys, there also a video called Argentina best crowd ever, it's with English and Spanish subtitles, it's an hour long video of a compilation of artists talking about Argentina's crowds, you maybe wanna take a look at it, it is worth every single second
I've seen this video many times and I could watch it over and over again. That's the best crowd I've seen personally and the old boys sound fantastic. I've always thought you could tell the real merit of a band by how they sound live and ACDC absolutely has the skills to pay the bills. No doubt. Great reaction fellas
As much as I'm into my Dance music, I do love me some classic Rock and would love to see AC/DC live. I actually live right next to the Bon Scott statue here in Scotland too where we hold an annual three day 'Bonfest' festival in memory of the man with tribute bands and AC/DC fans worldwide coming to attend 😊
This whole concert (I think that actually they filled this stadium 3 days in row) is awsome. Here they are just warming up (Angus ends up with only wearing his shorts, socks and shoes). Check out some more from this event. You know you won´t be disappointed.
Great review guys. Riverplate and AC/DC go together like Burgers and fries ! Another great crowd pleaser from this concert is ‘The Jack’ . You gotta check it out for Angus Young’s ‘performance’ alone ! Keep the vids coming, diggin’ it ! Rock on !!! 🎸
yes Argentinians are the best crowd ever, that's how the crowd should react in live rock concert , they are just such a passionate crowd, and you can really tell how they love AC/DC
My husband’s grandparents lived next door to Brian Johnson. My husband said it was great that Brian would come over and hang out, sing some Irish Tunes.
Alright lads??👌 Hell's Bells from the same concert is fucking amayyyzing..check out when Brian rings a huge bell and the drum's kick in,the crowd start bouncing and loudly singing between lyrics..its a goosebumps type moment
Whole lotta Rosie(from the RIVERPLATE of course 😃). Can't tell you how pleased I am that you may reacting to this oh so special gig. Thanks for your always great reactions🙂💥🤘👍
Well, you should check the video "Best Crowd Ever", to see how normal it's a crowd like this in Argentina. BTW, if you are impressed by River Plate you should check the artist Indio Solari, in Tandil, which is a hippodrome (because a stadium is not big enough for his fans)😄
Ileana: "because a stadium is not big enough for his fans" -> SO TRUE 😂🤣😂🤣 (this folks didn't learn the lesson that Dave Mustaine from Megadeth learned in Argentina: "¡Aguante Megadeth!")
Australia week? Angus, Malcolm and original singer Bon Scott (short for Bonnie Scotland) are all Scottish. They did move to Australia when they where young, but Scottish they are 🏴
Scotland have also given us a living treasure in Jimmy Barnes from Cold Chisel, to many Aussies even better than AC/DC Check out Wild Thing, Bow River, When The War Is Over to just name a few. Cold Chisel broke up in 1983 and Jimmy went on to have a successful solo career and is still singing today. When something is wrong with my baby is definitely worth listening to.
I never saw anything intense like this ACDC concert in Buenos Aires 2009 ....... maybe the performance of QUEEN at Live Aid 1985 is comparable, but that gig was only 20 minutes long and not 2 hours, like this.
Do you know the punk band The Ramones? They filled the same stadium in their last concert in Argentina. With Iggy Pop and Die Toten Hosen as support groups. They weren't that big in USA, LOL. When we Argentinians love a band, we really show it.
I was 57 this week and these guys prove that being old is something to fight. Fight against the dying of the light. Brian Johnson and Angus Young are my proper heroes. ❤❤
I had the dvd of that show it was shot over 3 nights and remember watching the bonus features and it have footage from a radio station where they were giving away tickets and some the reactions when they found out they won tickets , they were literally crying with joy, so I'm not surprised the crowd was amazing the stadium was full diehard fans
hello!!...excellent reaction!!...after seeing this video you have to see the video "best crowd ever"...which deals with the Argentine public at concerts...obviously the best in the world!! ...Thank you
Yes the three were born in Scotland, which has produced one of our other great artists Jimmy Barnes from Cold Chisel, but Bon left when he was six, Malcolm Ten and Angus Eight, the Young brothers mainly live in Australia in between touring and Bon and Malcolm are buried there.
@@Dr_KAP I don’t need to look it up, the Youngs were born in GLASGOW my city then moved abroad as kids, Bon Scot is from KIRRIEMUIR also moved abroad as a kid, not as babies, Brian Johnson speaks with a Geordie ( English accent)
@@stewrmo yeh I know lol you’re absolutely right.. it obviously mattered enough for the individual above to have a hissy fit about it so I was just correcting him on technicality.. it’s the pedant in me.. Of course it doesn’t matter. I’m not even a huge fan. We have better bands than Acca Dacca 😉 😝
Here is a list that you should try (in any order): -Let There be Rock - official video or Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon) -Whole Lotta Rosie (Live at River Plate) - (With Brian) -TNT (Live at River Plate) - (with Brian) -Riff Raff Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon) - The Jack Live at River Plate - (with Brian) - Its a Long Way to The Top (If you wanna Rock n Roll) - (with Bon) -For Thouse About to Rock - Live at River Plate (is The Last song from the concert)
This was the track that saved a captive US serviceman in Somalia (Blackhawk Down) . Blasting out from speakers on a helicopter flying low over Mogadishu. They knew it was his favourite track. He heard it and managed to signal from his cell and later rescued. Edit…. I stand corrected, it was Hell’s bells apparently. I’ll go sit in the corner🤪
This past weekend has been a great music love-fest at the 50th anniversary Glastonbury festival: Eilish, McCartney (with Dave Grohl), Kendrick Lamar, Diana Ross, Elbow, Crowded House, Alison Krauss...You'd have loved it.
They are a fantastic Aussie icon but I have to tell you that most Aussies would choose Cold Chisel over AC /DC most days of the week! Cold Chisel are as good if not better but simply decided not to go overseas.. check out Bow River, or their cover of Wild Thing.
@@kevinmcgeown9727 yes I mean clearly on an AC/DC reaction there will be more AC/DC fans but I’m on a LOT of reaction sites and it’s what most Aussies preach. Anyway both are great bands. We’ve put out some top notch bands no doubt 😆
I have the chance to see some shows all over the world cause I love music. The way we feel / live and love music in Argentina is totally different. I can’t understand the passivity of the crowds in Europe and USA. I think because of our passion of soccer, we sang the guitar chorus every single theme. You must watch “Indio Solari JI JI JI” but in a live show, he made the largest circle pit in the world. I love my country 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷 thx you so much for your video! Greetings from the other side of the world 😂
Highway to Hell from that River Plate concert is also great....well they all are from that concert tbh...I was lucky enough to see them at Wembley on this tour...can't believe it was well over 10 years ago now!
I’d go and see Brian when he was in Geordie. The guy is a fucking legend. And why you pausing AC/DC?! What’s the deal there. React as it goes on, talk at the end. Don’t pause AC/DC though guys.
Despite all the futile online discussions about who is the best vocalist and front-man between Bon Scott and Bryan Johnson, to me one thing holds truth: They're 2 incredible individuals that helped to make AC/DC as timeless and as good it is and will forever be! If those 2 had ever met in real life, i assume they would have a great time together!
This is AC/DC lite cant get used to the new guy..ha ha ha. Saw them on their world tour with Bon Scott in Manchester UK 1978 now that was a concert definitely in my top 3 I`ve ever attended.
I’m on 5 0r 6 memory shot AC/DC gigs first those about to rock you tour 82 Birmingham totally addicted. Never saw Bon gutted but love Brian. I’ve been 1000’s from gigs in small church halls to huge stadiums AC/DC just have that stage presence and are loved by young and old. Check out airborne not as big but cracking band. Unfortunately axel took over from Brian when he lost his voice so I cancelled otherwise it would have been 7
AC/DC - Hells Bells (Live At River Plate, December 2009) AC/DC - Live At River Plate AC/DC-The Jack from Live at River Plate AC / DC “ Whole Lotta Rosie at River Plate AC/DC Highway to Hell Live At River Plate AC/DC - T.N.T. (Live At River Plate, December 2009) END WITH A BANG!! | AC/DC - For Those About to Rock (We Salute You) (Live At River Plate) AC/DC- You Shook Me All Night Long from Live at River Plate AC/DC FIRST TIME LET THERE BE ROCK LIVE RIVER PLATE
AC/DC out of this world, first saw Brian Johnston sing in a group called Geordie in the early 1970s at the Mayfair Newcastle On Tyne. Knew then he was going to be awesome.
@@deewhobewatty9003 City Hall was class, Beautiful building, I loved the Mayfair every Sat night, saw many a group there. ie: Susie Quotro, Arthur Brown and his Crazy works of Fire. And many more.Very sad they knocked down and built the Gate. I try and get back home every year, loads memories.
Hello guys, thanks for reacting to the (Best Audience in the World). In our country, Rock and Music run through our veins, The Shows here are massive, crazy, frantic, we sing life and it's all a party because we are part of the Show, only here they will live and feel that true Passion, that is why all the great bands and soloists come to Film their DVD material for and towards the entire Planet, they come to feel us and experience what all the Great Bands say and musicians of us........we are the best public in the world, react to Argentine rock....you will be surprised, because here all kinds of music were made from the 60s to this part, from high quality and first international level, !!! Greetings from -Buenos Aires- the (City of Fury), from (The Country of the End of the World) !!! Argentina... A Whole Passion. National Pride 💙🤍🌞🤍💙!!!
Latinamerican crowds are wild always with rock... but Argentina is the nest of the crazy and more passional crowd pure good vibe and energy .. ACDC did 3 dates and the 3 dates like you see in the video .. I was here in the 2nd date one word ... savage
You can tell an acdc song from the first three bars. My favourite band of all time. And what movie could be the same without their soundtrack? From Ironman 1 & 2 to The Avengers , Battleship and, of course, Maximum Overdrive etc al?
This is a mish mash of live videos lads. The audio is correct but the video aint. At least one of them is in Germany, Stiff upper Lip Tour.Very Cool vid though.
